Great in every respect with the exception of breakfast that was poor for the first time out of our m
Pros:

When ever I stay for work or pleasure in London, the only place I stay is Warren Lodge as it meet all my / our requirements. For the very first time the breakfast was poor. Already booked again and hopr the breakfast gets back to its normal high standards.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor for the first time out of my / our many stays.

Terrible shower I don't know how hotels get away with this.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

The flow of the shower was extremely poor, if I wasn't already half in I would have asked to change rooms as it was like trying to shower with a kids watering can and the temperature could not be adjusted luckily it was a very hot day and the shower was stuck at stone cold.

Charming, great value and lovely team.
Pros:

I love this hotel, it’s charming and the team in the hotel are really lovely.

Cons:

Not all rooms have very good water pressure. On this stay I could hardly wash my hair as the pressure was so low.

Lovely location. Room was reasonable for the price.
Pros:

Liked the fact that it was surrounded by water. Room was spacious. Liked the traditional parts of the building.

Cons:

Lost of greenfly in the bathroom. Pillows were really poor quality-no substance. Tv sound kept going up and down

Pros:

Lovely location right near the river with tables and chairs over looking the river.

Cons:

Parking is very difficult as no private carpark so if busy can be hard to get a space but to be fair they do tell you this when you book.

Disappointing
Cons:

Our ‘Executive’ room was on the ground floor facing directly onto the drinks terrace. Rowdy drinkers sitting literally inches from our large patio window. Absolutely no privacy and loud noisy loutish behaviour well into the evening. The staff were surly and had a limited grasp of the English language. The property was surrounded by two other ex pubs which were derelict and boarded up. The hotel itself was tired and in general need of some TLC.

So disappointed
Pros:

The area

Cons:

I'm astounded. The manager should be a politician not in 'hospitality' I was glad when I was speaking to her that two other guests checking out supported me and said how awful they thought the hotel was. There are apologies and sincere apologies. If a room is that unfit to let then I should have been part-reimbursed for the night I had stayed without a decent bathroom. The other staff were very nice but the manager Sarah is ultimately responsible and I've never heard a less sincere apology. Her teeth were practically gritted. I don't understand why me wanting some of my money back for one of the four nights I stayed where the shower and toilet seat were broken (I'm not even going to start about the mould because I sadly didn't take a picture) is beyond the realms of reasonable. Why is the guest having to do the maintenance report? It's not good enough and it's very sad that the person who is ultimately responsible is unable to act in a kind, reasonable and welcoming manner, literally her job. It may be the hotel is on its last legs and struggling to survive, but all the more reason to look after the guests that you do have. That's three potential repeat customers that I know have been lost and I am certain we won't be the the only ones.

Great value overnight
Pros:

For me needs it my stay was just right.
I had an excellent arrival after a long drive.
Very good fresh cooked lunch in a comfortable seating area.
Beautiful very old building , hence well lived in.
Clearly upgrading had been done, and a tad more planned Im sure.
Thank you Warren.

Cons:

The building next door, not your problem!

Desperately disappointing. Just grim. Avoid at all costs.
Pros:

Riverside location

Cons:

This is supposedly an hotel. You cannot hold regular paying hotel-guests hostage to your extra income-generating stuff like loud late-evening events.
So the worst thing was: a wedding booking with really loud music until after midnight. Management were not open / honest in warning other guests - BEFORE they booked and paid - that they would get no sleep that night.
I had paid for 4 nights. But I had to book elsewhere at short notice.
The Warren Lodge ABSOLUTELY owes me, and all other affected guests, a no-quibble refund.

Also: no air conditioning. So the top-floor bedrooms were a furnace in the heatwave.

And very surly staff with zero customer service mentality or even basic manners.

shocking! unhelpful staff, room dated and like a furnace didnt sleep all night! AVOID
Pros:

leaving, knowing i would never have to return

Cons:

staff wasn’t very helpful, when there was no parking on site suggested to park around the corner on double yellows. had to park in a car park 5 min walk away with a 5 year old. had a food reservation which they told us to go else where as they had a wedding party there even though i had rang 3 times they could of said before i booked. our room was directly above the party that went on till 12.30-1am. we had to open windows due to heat and was given a fan which didn’t do much, could of put fan on before to cool room on the top floor. staff just repeated same thing they couldn’t help. would never return here.
