Awesome whisky sour at the bar
The restaurant is very good and the grounds are obviously kept up well.
Our room was a little tired and had a faint musty smell when we entered. I didn’t complain about this, to be fair, but they did tell me they checked the room just before we checked in. The air conditioner sounded like a turbo prop plane, but luckily, it was cool enough that we could sleep with the windows open and hear the wolves.
Wasn't overly pleased that I paid for a jet tub room and none of them worked and the only compensation i received was the cost difference between a jet tub room and a regular room. They did offer spa or restaurant credit but I was staying there for either of those reasons.
Also. The access roads to the property were beyond horrible

I love Cedar Meadows. The spa is amazing! The food is great! I fell in love with a picture on the wall and I actually had the opportunity to purchase a print from the artist!
The last two times I've stayed my rooms were not satisfactory. I paid extra for the jacuzzi room and it did not work. My partner had to rig it so I could use it. This last time I booked a room with the fireplace. The fireplace did not work. The lady at the desk was supposed to call maintenance and no one came. I needed a plug for the tub and had to keep going to the front desk and waiting while the clerk rolled her eyes and was very very rude to several people on the phone. This was New Years Eve. It was not a good experience. I mentioned this to the morning clerk. She apologized and told me someone would contact me and no one did.

Quiet location
Spa services above and beyond rate. Expensive room not cleaned, no discounts or deals.
Convenient to the airport, very friendly staff, bed was very comfortable in the cabin.
For a one night stay booked later in the day with no possibility of enjoying anything more than a meal, it felt very expensive. Unfortunately, it seems that this is the norm in Timmins where all the hotels seem to want to capitalise on the Mining industries success by charging astronomical rates. I live in Kelowna, BC and the price I would expect to pay for staying in a resort, with plenty of activities and wonderful views is a lot less than I pay to stay in a mining town with pretty much nothing going for it other than the industry. Sorry Timmins but you don't compare to Kelowna.
Shower in the cabin was very small, anyone over 230 pounds/6' 2" would have an interesting time in there!
Clean
Tried calling front desk a few times no answer and restaurant closed Monday's for breakfast. For the price you pay they should at least have coffee avaliable on Monday and not coffee machine in the room. The place s quiet and very clean
Staff was so friendly from the reception desk to the restaurant.
Pools close at 6pm and closed on Mondays … I worked during the day so did not get to enjoy unfortunately.
