Die Lage ist gut mit einer Kleinstadt in der Nähe wo man gut essen gehen kann.
Beim Einchecken ging es nur darum wie wir die Gebühren für unseren Hund zahlen. Das Kartenzahlungssystem des Hotels war an diesem Tag ausgefallen, ich hatte keine 10€ in bar und musste lange darauf hinweisen, dass wir bitte trotzdem den Zimmerschlüssel bekommen, weil es meinem Mann gesundheitlich nicht gut ging. Man hat uns nicht informiert, wie wir nachts zurück in Hotel kommen. Nach einer nächtlichen Runde mit dem Hund standen wir vor verschlossener Tür, obwohl in der Lobby Licht und Musik war. Nur zufällig haben wir einen Seiteneingang gefunden, an dem die Schlüsselkarte funktioniert hat. Das Dachfenster in unserem Zimmer hatte ein Fliegennetz, dass so verschmutzt war, dass wir das Fenster nicht geöffnet haben aus Sorge , Fliegen und Staub würde sonst auf das direkt darunter stehende Bett fallen.

We booked late so probably got the room which had the most noise because it was located near the entrance doorway and a corridor where people gathered to talk. We have stayed at Ypres before so we’re aware of the distance from town but it was a good walk
Lots of space. Liked that had small separate area with wardrobe, almost like a porch. 2 doors separating main room to corridor, so couldn't hear people moving up and down.

Only 1 comfy chair. Needed bigger towels and towels quite worn.

On the outskirts of town – a good 20 minute walk into town – this is a good value hotel which offers more than many more expensive places. Despite the rather unusual all wood interiors – think posh chalet – the rooms are large, well furnished, and air conditioned. The bed was the best we slept in over a two week European tour. There’s plenty of room storage, tea and coffee in the room, and free wifi. Plenty of parking, a bar and a restaurant complete the picture.

Good location. Easy to get to. Rooms were very comfortable. Good breakfast selection.
Breakfast was fine, the location was a little too far from Ypres so if you don't want to take your car and find parking it's a good 25min walk each way and most of the way there are no pavements / sidewalks.
Rooms are functional and in my location excessive exterior noise from groups talking loud directly below the rooms window well after 10pm

Loved it was a bit outside of the city although walking in / out is on a road with no footpath but the road is lit and wasn’t too much of an issue. Parking was safe and secure outside reception which was a huge relief on motorbikes .
