Worse Western
Pros:

Extremely poor service and would not recommend staying there. I was traveling up the coast with my family and reserved 3 rooms prior to our arrival. I called the day before to ensure they still had one of the rooms i reserved which was two beds and a pull out sofa. I did this because my son, wife and his four children (ages 4,7 ,7, 9) needed a larger room. The person on the phone confirmed they had the room and they would be ready for us. When we arrived to check in, Laurel said they didn't have a room like that and she was trying to figure it out for two days. She proceeded to complain that she had been busy with customers and did not have a chance to do her paperwork. I thought that was odd because I thought customers should be important. Since they didn't have the room, she said we would need to pay for a fourth room! Normally, would have told her to get lost and we would have moved on but was worried i would have to pay for the rooms if i didn't use them. Also, it was late in the day and the kids were tired. Reluctantly, i paid for the fourth room. She said the room wasn't ready yet (it was after 5pm) so we went to dinner and said we would pick up the key when we came back. After dinner we picked up the key and when we went up to the room, it had not been touched for a cleaning. At this point it was 9pm and there were no other rooms. They eventually got ahold of a cleaning person who went up to clean the room. Did not get in until about 10:30. The night front desk person Ashley, was very nice and did her best. When I went to check out, i complained again about being charged for a fourth room when i only booked three. The front desk person insisted i wasn't charged but i showed her on the receipts that i was charged for four rooms. Rather than take it off, she told me to go take it up with my credit card company. Realizing I was talking to someone that doesn't have a clue, i just left. Horrible service. What you reserve is not what you get and the front desk personnel do nothing but complain.

Pros:

The rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were even able to get us another room for a third night stay, problem free!

Cons:

Kids complained about the uncomfortable pull out couch. But what kids don't complain about!!

Overall it was clean and met all our needs. The staff was excellent. We had a long drive and were exhausted on arrival.
Pros:

The pool had dressing rooms which was convenient for changing from swimwear to clothes.

Cons:

Couch in the suite sitting area was hard and not comfortable and the tv had apps but couldn’t use them because it wasn’t connected to the internet and had no way to set that up.

Just drive by and don’t stop
Pros:

Don’t stay here! We left the same night we checked in. After traveling all day the kids were excited to get out of the car and go to the pool and hot tub. We quickly changed and got to the hot tub only to find out as soon as we entered the hot tub that it was more like luke warm bath water, the temperature read 80 degrees on the thermostat and while there another family came in and asked if it was still cold because their family had tried it out the day before. We gave up and decided to go back to our room only to find hair on our bed, a red questionable substance on a chair, dust and crumbs along the furniture, trash near the trash can, someone else’s handprints all over the mirror, the shower with a brown bottom in some spots, orange tint in the toilet and a tissue shoved into the eye hole of the door. We left, didn’t feel like arguing for a refund when our family was exhausted from traveling all day and decided to look for a new hotel at 9 at night. I wish I took pictures to leave with my review.

101 road trip Reedsport stay over
Pros:

Great little hotel (BW) on the 101 in Reedsport OR. Plenty of options around food, grocery, etc

Cons:

Outdated lamps. Need more charging ports.
