Room shower didn't work ,faucet could hardly turn on ..toilet low to ground(all rooms had very low toilets )..tv only had basic direct tv.. ac sounded like airplane engine off/on...
Asked to be moved early next morning.
Malisa understood and moved us into ground floor due to bad knee no elevator just lots of stairs ..only available Family suite/ room
with required 2 beds but tv was by front room with wall separating bed area....so wanted to watch tv stretched out in bed but couldn't swivel tv could not see from beds Asked about another tv for bedrooms area n/a..snd no rooms to move us too.
The staff Malisa was very kind and tried to accommodate but hotel was full.

Second day, the only meat available was covered in eggs and cheese would’ve liked a second option like just plain sausage
I did not make it past the check in. The women check in was so in apt . We waiting over half an hour to try an check in. We do not know who or what she was doing with the people in front of us. We finally gave up and booked a room some where else. We were tired and wanted to just rest after a long day.
Everything. The people that were there looked they lived there as well, we did not feel comfortable nor safe there.
Convenient location in town. Very comfortable beds, clean. Breakfast was decent.
I was quoted a rate by Booking.com, the front desk said actual charge was about $20 less, but I still got charged the original price, even after being told it would be corrected the next day. My only complaint about this experience.

Room needed maintenance: entry door difficult to open, needed adjusting; burned out light bulb in one lamp; refrigerator froze items (apples & cheese & beverages; closet door handles needed tightening and doors needed adjusting to stay shut;
written instructions needed on desk for operation of TV and heater/ac unit. Unit was set at 60 AC and very cold. I gave a written list of all these items to the front desk at checkout. Bathroom was nicely upgraded EXCEPT toilet which was very low. They should have put in an ADA height toilet when remodeling. Suggest a floor lamp in room to provide additional lighting. I've stayed at my fair share of Best Western Hotels in my lifetime and this time was the worst! The quality was poor the bed was horrible, my wife and I took naps in our car because we couldn't get any good quality sleep in their crummy beds. The a/c unit only worked when it wanted to,the bathroom sink was clogged and barely drained. I couldn't take a bath because the drain stopper in the tub was broken. If you have to stay in this town you're better off sleeping in your car and saving your money.
The beds are so bad that we maybe got 2 hours of sleep at night. They are very hard! We tried everything we could think of to make the bed more comfortable... Piling pillows under us in different ways. We tried sleeping in the chairs instead with no luck. We all thought about going to our car every night and sleeping in it instead and we really should have because we ended up sleeping in them anyways during the day. We were that tired! We couldn't even enjoy our anniversary trip because we were to tired to do anything. Instead we found places to park and nap off and on throughout the day. We struggled through 3 days like this. On top of no sleep we also had terrible back and hip pain because of the bed.
The air conditioner wouldn't cool the room down and would shut off when it was starting to make a difference and not turn back on for hours.
We told the person at the front desk about the issues and they just laughed and told us to leave a review.
Very clean and the pool was so fun! Nobody really bothered us.
The breakfast wasn’t great and some of the employees were kind of rude but some were very nice.
The breakfast had good proteins, a store was next door, our window looked out over River. Centrally located for lighthouse and other attractions.
The road noise, the windows were not clean, maybe need to be replaced to provide clear view.
