Best Western Plus Hotel Zürcherhof

The breakfast was very small and did not have many options. We were given the option to order a fritatta which was so stiff and stale we thought it must be fake eggs (but then found out it wasnt). Switzerland is expensive so I thought paying for hotel breakfast would be better value than going out to restaurants but it would have been better to have just got a snack from the Coop than pay for the breakfast here.

Other main issue was that there was a portable air conditioner in the room and a big hose connecting it through the window outside. I dont know what it was about this but it triggered my sinuses terribly and I was unable to sleep the two nights I was there because it gave me a terrible head cold (I had no sinus issues outside the room but couldn't breathe through my nose when in the room). The other two people I was traveling with were fine but I wish there was central air instead of this since I had such a reaction to the room. The rest of our trip we stayed in hotels with either no AC or central air and i did not have this issue again, so it must have been related to the portable air conditioner.

A little bit of construction going on nearby or some kind of thumping early in the morning It didn’t bother me too much though and wouldn’t let this deter you.

Só não gostei do atendimento da funcionária do café da manhã, uma portuguesa, tudo bem que pode ser questão cultural , mas precisa ser educada , agradável com os hóspedes. Duas vezes que fizemos um questionamento sobre itens do café ela respondeu e em seguida disse que estava escrito . Como se fossemos obrigados a entender a língua . Penso que ela precisa de treinamento, ou trabalhar em outro setor que não seja com o público .

Es war sehr heiß (August) im Zimmer. Nur für ein paar ausgewählte Räume gab es eine mobile Klimaanlage. In meinem Einzelzimmer stand ein kleiner Ventilator, der die sehr warme Luft nur umwälzte.

Looking like it needs a revamp

NO TIENEN AIRE ACONDICIONADO. Solo un aire de ventana que NO cumple con un estándar confortable. Quizás el verano y las altas temperaturas no ayudaron a una estadía mas confortable.

Nothing it was all great

Very Below Standard Breakfast. We only booked this because it was a Best Western and it was highly disappointing. The breakfast was just below standard. The size of the room and they did not bother changing towels. Suffocating stuffy rooms.
