Pros:

We keep coming back to his Best Western Plus in Concordville, PA for the past several years and it has always been a pleasant stay. The new addition provides a much larger area for breakfast with more tables then the previous location.

OK but overrated
Pros:

Based upon the reviews, my wife and I expected a better experience, so we were disappointed. We booked a suite, room 317. The biggest problem was the wifi was alternately weak or non-functional. The hotel defers wifi problems to a third party company for resolution. After two calls, they were unable to resolve the problem and suggested a room change. We chose not to request a room change due to the hassle factor and decided to use cell service on our phones for the three nights (I'm sure the hotel would have been happy to arrange another room). Also, it turns out the entrance to this and several other rooms on the second and third floors are open to the lobby below and subject to any noise occurring there. On the first night, there was a group of people talking loudly after midnight, keeping us awake. The suite had dividing doors to the closet and bathroom entrance- of what value is that versus a plain room at lower cost? The room was large but sparsely furnished, unlike the photos online for suites. The TV was small, maybe 37", which made it hard to see from the loveseat or bed across the large room. The air conditioner was loud and made a loud click when cycling on; since it was close to the bed, that was a problem for a light sleeper like me. The bathroom was nice enough although it had zero towel bars to help dry towels overnight and, unlike most hotels, had no body wash or shampoo in the shower. The window curtain installation left a large gap on the left side, allowing lots of light to come in early in the morning.

On the positive side, the staff was polite and helpful, the grounds were much nicer than average, the breakfast was better than average and the room was clean. The hotel seemed to be an older facility, fairly recently refurbished but remnants of its former self remained (see A/C issue above). This is not a bad hotel, just overrated.

Für die Durchreise in Ordnung
Pros:

Nice hotel
Pros:

An overnight trip to the area led me to this hotel. The property is very well maintained with many common areas seeming to be recently refurbished. The room was very spacious and equipped with both a large fridge and a microwave. We slept well and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the included breakfast also had made-to-order omelettes. This is our second stay and we will use the hotel again if in the area.

Best stay in the area!!
Pros:

Always a great stay. My go-to in the area. Beds comfy, excellent coffee machine in lobby. Big water bottle for purchase. Meg is a dear and always kind and helpful. Can arrange bereavement group sales, very reasonable rate. The bar and restaurant are very convenient. Love the very special napoli pizza right around the corner. The gym is well appointed. The breakfast even has eggs and omelets to order!

Cons:

Not much not to like!

Wedding Room Block Disappointment
Pros:

I recently had a room block at the Concordville Best Western Hotel for my wedding. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with my stay for several reasons.
I spent a couple of hundred dollars putting together welcome bags for my guests traveling out of town. I also included the transportation schedule, pick-up location, and a handwritten note from the bride and groom thanking our guests. I dropped off the gift bags the same day my guests were checking in (Thursday, May 21st) and put them in a clearly labeled “Mesoraca-Sanchez Wedding” box. The front desk told me it was against hotel policy to write my guests' names on the bags, so I labeled the box to be beneficial and not cause confusion with any other hotel guests checking in.
The check-in process was absolutely disastrous. The front desk was supposed to hand out a welcome bag to my guests upon checking in. However, after welcoming my guests, I found that most of them did not receive a bag. When I confronted the front desk about what happened, they said they got confused because multiple wedding guests were checking in at the same time, so they mixed up the bags. They had given my bags to the wrong hotel guests. The front desk did not apologize about the incident, nor did they try to correct the problem by retrieving the gift bags. I was extremely upset and disappointed as I had put a lot of time, money, and effort into trying to give my guests a good first impression of the wedding weekend. Also, because the front desk failed to provide my guests with the correct bags, they were not informed of the shuttle’s pickup time or location. On the day of the wedding, my mom had to go from room to room to inform each guest of the shuttle times. This added unnecessary stress on her. The fact that the concierge could not simply ask which wedding party the guest was there for showed their lack of professionalism and competency.
During the check-in process, my mom was told she was “upgraded” to an apartment located in the hotel basement. My mom declined the upgrade because she wanted to stay on the 5th floor, but the concierge stated that to “switch her room back,” they would have to discuss it with management. When they were finally able to find her another junior king suite on the 5th floor, it still had to be cleaned, which was very inconvenient, as we had to get ready for our rehearsal dinner. While I appreciate the opportunity for an upgrade, this caused a very lengthy delay for all other guests trying to check in. Multiple wedding parties were trying to check in, and only one person was working the front desk. I believe this also contributed to the incorrect distribution of wedding gift bags.
Things did not improve much during the stay. My sister stayed with me on Thursday, the night before the wedding. Friday morning, she asked the front desk to have the bed sheets changed as the groom was going to be spending Friday night. My sister was told that to change the sheets, she would be charged a room cleaning fee. She explained she only needed fresh linens, and the room did not need to be cleaned. She offered to make the bed if given fresh linens, but the concierge insisted we would be charged a fee. My sister did not want to burden me with this on my wedding day, but told me about it after, and I did not understand why we could not be provided with fresh linens without being charged an additional fee.
Finally, I met with Gianna, the Director of Sales, five months before my wedding. She gave my mom and me a tour of the hotel and showed us the 5th-floor king suite, regular king, and double bed options. Gianna explained that she would put 10 rooms on our room block to start. We asked that since my family is traveling out of town, they be put on the same floor. Especially since my grandma has dementia and my grandfather is going through cancer treatments, my mom wanted to keep watch over them. As our family checked into the hotel, we found that we were all in different parts of the hotel and on different floors. I do not understand why my family was not placed on the same floor, especially since we started the room block process almost 6 months before our wedding.
We chose your hotel for our room block because of its cleanliness, amenities, and beautiful decor. However, the whole process was extremely chaotic, disorganized, and unprofessional. I can honestly say I would not recommend this experience to others because it was stressful from start to finish. I hope this letter will be passed along to the hotel concierge, and they will be informed of their shortcomings. I hope you take responsibility and accountability for your employees' actions and strive to provide better experiences for your hotel guests in the future.
