We felt that the hotel had reserved its worst rooms for the customers of Booking.com
Pros:

Nothing in particular

Cons:

There was no air conditioning in the room. A portable air conditioner was provided but it was extremely loud and we couldn’t use it. The portable fans were also very loud. We were not notified that the air conditioning was not working.
The faucet in the bathroom sink was not working and dispensed water that was extremely hot.
The view was of the car park in the front.

So close to town and in walking distance that we barely had to drive unless we were leaving the city to explore.
Pros:

I liked that there was a table in the room and hard wood floors were nice. Also we had a partial view of the ocean which was beautiful! The free coffee downstairs was awesome!

Cons:

The bed was good for my father in law, but I’m a side sleeper, so the first couple nights my hip hurt because of how firm it was. I wish they had a free breakfast, but I appreciate the coffee. Also, I decided to go elsewhere for breakfast because I read some of the reviews online about the food and didn’t want to chance it.

Requested new coffeemaker at around 10:30 am because the one in the room was broken, had to go down and ask again at 6:00 pm. No one cleaned the room, we had to go get clean towels. The desk attendant ( male) acted as if we were putting him out by asking when the coffee maker would be coming. He never apologize or even said “I will check on that for you” the message light on the phone was on, we tried getting the message by using the instructions on the phone, but it didn’t work. The night attendant said he couldn’t tell us how to get the message because he wasn’t in the room looking at the phone. The day staff was pleasant. The room was to expense for the lack of attention to details. The stafff needs to be trained in customer service. A smile and a I’ll check for you, goes a long way.

Not enough garbage bags-had to keep asking housekeeping. No fan in the restroom when you do your #2. No AC in the room, way too hot

The pool opens way too late in the morning. Consider opening earlier or having adult only hours at really early hours.

A bit disappointing for our 10th anniversary.
Pros:

Good water pressure, check in was good

Cons:

The bed, the noise outside our window till midnight. Could hear the neighbors most of the night and morning. The size of the room. Bed size was no queen. You couldn’t close the door if you were on the potty. Having to go up front cause of not having house keeping when we had requested it. Ac didn’t work very well.
