The breakfast
This was our second time staying at the Ocean Sands BW. Our favorite amenity was the Tiki Bar by the pool. The kids could swim and play while we hung out with our new friend Kirsten! She had some great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We also love being ocean front and able to enjoy the view from our balcony. The only downfalls are just structural for an older building. Small breakfast area and difficulty getting in and out of elevator with luggage because of the enclosed space. Otherwise, I think it’s a great hotel and we’re already looking at dates for our next stay.

The property needs some major updates. And the parking was terrible
The room was super clean, the location was perfect, the price was great! Loved that each day there was something different for breakfast. The sausage gravy was delicious! Fantastic pina coladas!

Pools and lazy river were way too small. The staff lady at the pool was rude the rooms where on the small side as well. And the showers to coming off the beach to get the sand off was pointless it didn’t even help that much
They have a wonderful breakfast that is included. The staff was amazing when we checked in and found out my mother was visually impaired they moved us to a handicap accessible room
Getting to the beach is a little unsteady for someone with visual problems no level ground from the parking lot out to the beach.
The location was Awesome and beachfront top tier.
Nothing it wasn’t the picture that you all showed me when booking you sold me a trip on false advertising never again would I book anything thru you all I won’t my money back I already talk with my credit card company when speaking with your agent about the situation they hung the phone up on me twice poor customer service didn’t try to resolve the issue at all

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Also the tiki bar lady Kirsten is very wonderful and pleasant to be around and talk to
The best part of my trip was hanging out by the pool with Kirsten. Best bartender ever!
Location was perfect. Ocean front
Was too crowded to eat. Toilet didn't work half the time. Had to go hunt for a cart to move our luggage. Drink machine had a sign stating out of drinks for four days. It was never filled. Snack machine was not working. Would not stay here again
The only thing good about this hotel was the view from the balcony.
Please beware! The pictures online are deceiving! The parking was terrible! The room was not clean-looked like it had not been swept, the bed was uncomfortable, the breakfast set up was terrible, there were burn spots in the carpet, the sliding glass door did not lock, the paint was peeling off the walls. When we got into the room the refrigerator was leaking-when I pulled out the mini fridge it was absolutely nasty to the point I had to use some of the towels to clean it myself. There was only one elevator for 10 floors, only 1 washer and dryer, and the vending machines did not work.
I usually do not allow staff to come in my room during my stay and normally just ask the front desk staff for towels if needed, so when I did that here I was informed that they were out of towels. I'm sorry, what hotel runs out of towels?? So, the next day I allowed staff to come in and change the towels and empty the trash; that was a lost cause also because they did not leave us enough towels and wash clothes.
I wish now I would have taken pictures, but I was so disgusted and frustrated I didn't think about it.
