Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa

Great location far enough away from Mirissa. Peaceful and welcoming staff. Difficult to find a spot to swim in the ocean but possible to take a dip. Hotel pool wasn’t cleaned early enough for us to swim one morning (not open until after 8). Sri Lankan brekkie available as well as eggs and Gandon’s style, serving sizes were very generous.

Absolutely one of the best beach Villa locations we’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, clean, in the perfect location and has wonderful staff. They cater to your every need. Breakfast on the beach side is wonderful. The beach itself is so secluded, but yet you can walk along to the left and right to see the stunning views.
The rooms are large and extremely comfortable with wonderful bedding. We stayed in the ocean signature suite, which has a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the pool.
So convenient to get to Marissa Beach or to Matara or in fact anywhere in a Tuk Tuk. We even took one to Galle Fort which was a fabulous experience. One of the hotel staff hooked us up with a Tuk Tuk Driver to figure out his daily rate.
My only issue was that the hotel tried to change the cost of the taxi ride back to the airport which we had already arranged in advance. We also asked for a return taxi to a wedding 3 miles away and were quoted $50 which was obviously ridiculous. Just a little disappointing.
Overall would highly recommend.

I had a fantastic time here with my family of 4! The rooms were well maintained and the property is beautiful. The staff is very proactive in their service and presented themselves very kindly. They are also very accommodating to dietary preferences. It is also only a 6 minutes drive to the main Mirissa Beach area; you can also choose to walk the distance. I would definitely go back!

Sri Sharavi is one of the best beach resorts that I've ever stayed at. The staff are incredibly helpful, the resort itself is beautiful, and the location is perfectly secluded. We had a large group and booked several rooms. Every level of room was delightful. The pool was exceptional and breakfast on the beach is so lovely.

Spectacular setting - right on the beach which has hardly anyone on it - so peaceful. Really friendly staff from start to finish. Great smoothies and cocktails by the pool.

The room was beautiful - we were in an ocean signature suite room with views straight out onto the beach - it was huge! Huge bathroom too.

Only suggested improvements would be better coffee making facilities in the room. And a better breakfast which was OK. You were charged extra if you wanted a cappuccino or latte. We ended up venturing out for breakfast in the end for more variety as there are lots of gorgeous coffee shops in Mirissa at a reasonable price.

Overall, we absolutely loved this place - it was paradise and we will definitely be back!

Spectacular setting on the beach with a lovely pool looking over the ocean. Staff are wonderful and the curries delicious - the spa was such a great treat too.

Beautiful small resort with amazing rooms, fantastic pool, friendly staff and gorgeous views. The shared living space is fantastic, a private hideaway from the hot sun with comfy lounges, books and still with the views. The Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious. The beach is very scenic but rough most days. You will swim a little further away from the hotel front to be safer. We definitely recommend staying here for a luxury getaway

Great small luxury hotel! Very quite and relaxing but it was low season. However since three are only 12 rooms I’m sure it’s never to raucous.

This hotel was beautiful. The photos didn’t do it justice. The facilities were great, the included breakfast was tasty and the included yoga was also an excellent start to each morning.
It was disappointing that Expedia showed photos of the larger villa rooms listed under the smaller room type, so the room type booked was not as pictured.

On this holiday to Sri Lanka, we did Hikkaduwa, Mirissa and Colombo and there's not a day since we got back that we don't miss Sharavi and Mirissa.

The property is absolutely gorgeous with 4 villas, each of which are beautifully color coordinated based on their names. We had just 2 meals there both of which were excellent. What we loved the most, was the warm hospitality. Special thanks to Madhu for taking care of us so well.

Can't wait to get back and hopefully next time, for a longer stay.

Upon arriving at the Sri Sharavi hotel, you get this feeling of luxury, the place oozes chic from the reception area to the rooms to the pool.
We arrived a little early for check in and the manager, Marcy gave us a tour of the hotel and explained everything we need or may need to know. As our room was being made ready, we left our bags with reception and went to relax by the bar right next to the beach. A little later we were then shown to our room which was the Rampe room and our bags were brought to us, the room itself had a very Mediterranean feel with white stone walls giving it an airy feel. The room had all the amenities you'd expect along with a jar of ginger biscuits (being British, we obviously loved this), aftersun and mosquito repellant and even a docking station for your iPhone!
We were exceptionally lucky to receive an upgrade and the next day we moved to a superior suite in one of the villas which was absolutely amazing! Our bed faced the balcony doors which open onto a pool and sea view and the room itself was huge with a chaise lounge and large bathroom with twin sinks and an open shower area. Each villa has a small number of rooms along with a shared dining and living area, it has it's own cleaning and wait staff who we found to be amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble.
The breakfast selection is great and plentiful, in fact I enjoyed every meal I had here and regardless of whether it is a full meal or just a snack, your table is laid out beautifully.

We absolutely loved the pool and restaurant area, the food was amazing and the all the staff were so nice and accommodating we couldn’t of asked for more 😀

Wow!! First night in Sri Lanka and we weren’t disappointed. Beautiful modern room with a sea view. Very clean and amazing food! 10-minute Tuk Tuk to Weligama for surfing. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a 13 nights long stay in the Ocean Signature Suite. We could not be more happy with our experience. The staff and management took great care of us from the first to the last minute.
We came in quite late and the chef had stayed behind to serve us a warm meal per our liking. This together with the small present in our fridge from the owner made the welcome very warm!

We plotted down all our days in which we wanted to do some sightseeing such as whale watching and safari among others and they took care of all the bookings and transport with ease. The servers were very well trained and made us feel comfortable with their professionalism matched together with a playful banter in times.

The spa was as delightful as expected and could serve two people at once in separate rooms.

Our room was as advertised: clean, spacious and with a wonderful view. We got the furthest room to the right looking to the ocean and this one had two trees that covered our balcony just enough to feel we were not exposed to the pool area.

The menu was varied enough for us to eat most of our meals at the resort without getting too repetitive. The egg hoppers breakfast is a must try! We also very much liked that they did daily specials each day.

We would really recommend this resort!
