Hamilton Island Holiday Homes

Oasis 11 is on the Marina side and you can walk to the Marina to all the eateries. The apartment is spacious and has a lovely view but does need updating as the decor is tired and some of the cupboards/chairs were loose or broken. It comes with a buggy which is handy and kids U12 eat free at some restaurants. Overall, it felt more like a home and was comfortable. Another relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hamilton Island.

We were allocated Compass Point 4 which was a one bedroom apartment style property. It was so cool because the property came with a golf buggy which we picked up at the airport. The accommodation was on a hill with beautiful sunset views. It was spacious and clean and contained a BBQ and kitchen which made cooking in very easy. I highly recommend booking these little apartments for a couples getaway. We could also use the commone resort pools at Catseye Beach which was very refreshing. And also had unlimited free hire of non motorised water sport equipment. It was the perfect base for our getaway.

General cleanliness when we took on the property was average. Also there were some maintenance issues, like the downstairs bath tub drain was clogged meaning it took ages for the water to drain. Water pressure and water temperature issues throughout. The view was lovely however and it was nice and spacious.

The photographs of the property need updating as the property in its present state is nothing like the photos. Very average property and cleanliness is well below standard. This is a rip off and Expedia needs to investigate and get back to me.

The service from both Expedia and Hamilton Island Holiday Homes is absolutely appalling. Don't ever stay in Anchorage 5 as there is no view what so ever, the furniture is at least 20 years old and is stained and damaged. The door to the deck can't be unlocked and there is hardly any natural light. Totally depressing for a holiday island. 13 phones, emails and one month later, still no acceptable resolution or refund.

We had never been to Hamilton Island before, so didn't know what to expect really. We have travelled internationally alot pre-COVID, and honestly, we had the BEST time on Hamilton Island. The accommodation from Hamilton Island Holiday Homes (HIHH) was perfect. We're glad we didn't stay immediately beachfront where the accommodation was slightly cheaper, as there is no privacy in those properties and they are very small. Comparatively, HIHH properties were all extremely large, well designed, had loads of amenities, large kitchen, garaged parking AND it included a buggy (saving us at least $889 over the course of the week). You NEED a buggy when on Hamilton Island if you want to see everything/be free to travel around. The shuttles don't cut it. So, to have everything we needed plus great views was great. Perfect service from the HIHH team, who also take your bags from the airport/port up to your room, and back on the day of departure. Honestly, no complaints at all - and I'm not exactly easy to please!

Great apartment with wonderful views and excellent pools. The split level apartment worked well with 3 teenage boys.

House was nice with all amenities in good condition. Self Contained units was great for a large family on a budget.

Having a golf buggy included in the price was great because the location was very hilly. Although the golf buggies only seat four and we have a family of five so needed to do two trips each time

Fabulous stay. Professional service on arrival that made everything so easy. Will definitely be coming back.

We liked quick service. One of the tabs of the kitchen was broken. After reporting it was replaced within an hour

Casuarina #2 was great. Location was amazing (walking distance to shops, wharf, and marina, a couple minutes buggy ride to one tree hill, resort facilities, and Catseye beach). Facilities were good (included a buggy, washing machine, dish washer, and an electric grill). Balcony had good views of Marina. Service was really good. Weather was great (hot and sunny) - which was causing a bit of bugs (ants and cockroaches to come out).

There was no wi-fi coverage at the accommodation, but we had good data and phone reception from our mobile providers (Optus).

Not very clean and we can found some spaces are dirty,

I have sent email to the staff ask for a hard mattress bed for my dad. Cos my dad got serious problem for his back. When we arrived there the bed was so soft even for us. So my dad has to sleep on the floor

Hamilton Island is beautiful and very layed back just what we were looking for. The fact that the majority of the traffic on the island was golf carts made this "wrong side" of the road driver comfortable navigating to all of the fun sites and activities. When we arrived we had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, the staff had everything fixed within the hour and the rest of the stay they checked back to make sure everything was still perfect.

close to all amenities. Access to "Edge" pool an added bonus.
