Room was great. breakfast was weak.
Coffee was marginal. Cheap maple syrup. Hard to peel hard boiled eggs.
Michelle welcomed me and smoothed my way to a happy stay. The other staff were excellent as well.
The parking situation is, as expected, hard to deal with. I cannot offer suggestions. The noise on the street could be abated with double glazed windows. The surfaces the staff could reach in the breakfast room were immaculate, but the mirrors above the buffet need attention.
The hotel is lovely and the staff is EXCELLENT! They are professional, friendly, kind and supportive. We stayed several times while visiting my brother in and of ICU until he passed this week. This was a time of tremendous stress, anxiety and fear and heartache. Every stay I was greeted with loving smiles and sincwre words of encouragement. I looked forward to arriving back to the hotel after long days at the hospital where I felt cared for and safe. A special thanks to everyone especially Ms. Michele & Adam.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about the Chestnut Hill Hotel. The only request would be a more substantial hotel breakfast even if there is a cost.
Staff was very friendly. This was a short trip but I will definitely stay there again!
The hotel is adorable and so well appointed. The area is very quaint. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely.
Small complaint. The shampoo and conditioner dispenser should be mounted in the shower wall opposite the shower head so as not to get blasted with water when dispensing product. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Great staff service, hotel & room were clean, both the room and particularly the bed/bedding were exceptionally comfortable- we had a great stay
The Chestnut Hill Hotel was the Perfect overnight place to stay!!
The ONLY issue i can think of, was parking. However, we were there Saturday into Sunday, and after 6pm parking on the street was unlimited.
I am always grateful for the personal touch and unique atmosphere of this hotel. The desk staff are always personable and kind, especially Michelle! The breakfast is a cut above the usual continental fare, and the restaurant has a wonderfully eclectic menu.
Booking the rooms for myself and a friend proved unnerving through booking.com. My friend was charged at a higher rate with much higher taxes for no particular reason as we were on the same floor in the exact same style rooms and no justification for the extra charges.
The dining room needs improving and breakfast is less than adequate.
Perfect location and nicely designed
Staff were very courteous. Hotel had a lot of charm. Beds were super comfy. I hate hotel pillows and always travel with my own, these pillows were just perfect!
The kindness of the staff! She even came out to my car to give me my parking pass late at night when it was freezing cold. How kind!
Easy check-in. Quiet comfortable stay. Great breakfast. Thank you !
Only that room 202 is so close to the elevator you can hear it but it is a very quiet elevator. So nothing so bad!
The hotel is a beautiful old building on the main street of a charming town. The room was large and well appointed with many thoughtful touches. Staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast had a generous array of fresh fruits, juices, coffee, teas and high quality standards like Greek yogurt, eggs and pastries.
Great staff.
The room was great. Beds were comfortable , tv was large , nespresso machine and the free breakfast were perfect.
The pillows were terrible and had a weird smell.
