I had an excellent 5D4N stay at 57 Hotel. The location is outstanding, with convenient access to Central Station and key tourist attractions. Surry Hills and Darlinghurst are also within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Additionally, Woolies is located just nearby for added convenience.
The room was well-appointed and perfectly sized for a solo traveler, with a particularly well-maintained bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was provided daily, which was a pleasant inclusion.
I would also like to commend the staff for their professionalism and warm hospitality—special mention to Kaori, Motohiro, Ciara, Lynn, and Mac for their exceptional service.
I would not hesitate to stay at this property again and highly recommend it.

Easy and fast, polite staff. Helpful and easy place to stay at. So really happy with my experience, wasn't expecting too much for myself alone.

Front desk need to be more clear on parking, very specific instructions would be ideal
I was given a voucher to exit the Wilson car park for free, but tapped my card before i could scan it
Now i have been charged $178 plus the $49 I’ve already paid at the hotel

The hotel is quiet and clean. The room was a good size and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary espresso coffee in the lobby was a nice touch.

The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and quiet. My only recommendation is better pillows for neck support.

Funky place to stay in a funky part of Sydney, highly recommend this hotel if you want a convenient location to Sydney’s CBD without being there. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants and bars

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night during our stay which was problematic with a baby. I understand that false alarms can happen, but apparently this was set off by someone smoking in their room. One person smoking should not trigger a building wide evacuation.

Booking software was very poor. I originally booked for the wrong dates, but never received any booking reminders so was charged for a night I didn't stay - I only found out about the error by calling up myself to extend my booking, only to be told my booking had passed and there was nothing that could be done but re-book.

The room across from ours was clearly using an escort service which was off-putting

I would have told the reception all this (I generally don't like leaving poor public reviews), but wasn't asked how my stay was when we checked out

Hotel room was comfortable and a good size. However, the information I received on the phone prior to my arrival was misleading which resulted in some significant logistical challenges related to parking. Had I been given clear information initially, our trip would have been smooth.

The location is excellent, right near the train line from the airport and also near the tram to my company.
It’s a friendly hotel, I always find the staff to be very nice and helpful Kaori-san in particular is really great, always with a kind smile and she’s efficient in helping the guests. She has a great work attitude!
I like the self serve coffee and pastries in the morning, I can go at my own pace and not wait for service.
The rooms are not fancy but they have almost everything and they are clean. The room staff is very thorough. My only two issues are 1) the bathroom floor floods a bit when showering and 2) there is no space to put my clothes other than the hangers.
I will recommend 57 hotel to others.

Excellent hotel close to Central Station. The room, although small, was clean and well laid out. Free decent quality coffee in reception was a bonus. Definitely offered value for money

Hotel is a hidden gem very close to Central Station and Restaurants/bars.
Excellent service provided by Lin, Kaori and Moto-san throughout stay.
Room was exceptionally clean and fully functioning. Safe location and very quiet inside room despite the road at front

Great location, close to transport, shops, great cafes, restaurants & bars. Room was perfect size. Only down side was that a/c wasn’t working well & made the room a little stuffy.

A great place to stay. Cute room. Centrally located. Wonderful friendly staff. Good coffee available all day. Terrific neighbourhood with lots of great food options.

perfect location, very comfy bed and clean room. Whenever in Sydney I always have to leave at 6pm for a flight home. This time I booked through booking.com but next will book direct and ask (and pay) for a late check out rather than paying 2 nights and leaving early if that is possible. Also lovely staff !

Great location and lovely welcome when checking in. Room was basic and had what we needed however the shelf in the shower was on a lean so couldn't put any shampoo/body wash containers on it as they fell off, plug in basin didn't stop water draining so couldn't have a decent basin full of water plus the pressure in the hand basin and the shower was terrible when using cold water. Cold water was dribbling out of the basin tap. Unusual bathroom set up with the glass doors and curtains.

Very well located for exploring the local area and only a short walk from the metro station. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Rooms were very clean & staff were very polite & helpful.

We stayed at Hotel 57 for 5 nights whilst on holiday in Australia from the UK. My wife was poorly when we arrived and the hotel, we arrived early but the team allowed us to use the room early to enable my wife to recover. From the first minute you could tell that service would be terrific and it really was. The hotel has a disco lift which was fun and also provide complimentary coffee and pastries at breakfast. The decor is really cool, rooms are spacious and the location is literally 5 minutes from Central station. We went to the Oasis gig at the Olympic stadium, having the train station close was really useful. We left our cases whilst we travelled to the gold coast, which was good and we felt very welcomed by the whole team. Thank you so much Hotel 57, if we come back to Sydney, we'll stay again. you really made our holiday special.

Comfortable and spacious room. I love staying here. Staff are welcoming and helpful. I like that Reuben Hills Cafe is close by for breakfast
