Schöne Lage, gutes Essen, aber preislich sehr überzogen
Pros:

Der Blick vom Zimmer über Bad Herrenalb ist wunderbar.
Frühstück ausgezeichnet, alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht.
Zimmer ausreichend groß.
Restaurant und Küche sehr gut, allerdings sehr wenig Auswahl.
Wellness haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, daher keine Bewertung.

Cons:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für die Logis ist in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt.
Die Zimmer mit dem Charme der 80er/90er Jahre sind in die Jahre gekommen, die Schränke sind nur mit größter Kraftanstrengung zu öffnen, Flecken im Teppichboden etc. Die Heizungsanlage wird über Tablet gesteuert, was allerdings
offenbar nicht funktioniert. Auf der einen Seite ist die Nachtabsenkung derart niedrig, daß man sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Bad friert, andererseits konnte in der Nacht der Zeitumstellung die Heizung offenbar nicht abgesenkt werden, sodaß man sich wie in der Sauna fühlte.. Das sollte man dringend in den Griff bekommen.
Die Preise im Restaurant sind ebenfalls sehr hoch, die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich, vor allem , wenn man
mehrere Tage bleibt.
Der Weg von der Ortsmitte mit anderen Restaurants ist vor allem für ältere Gäste ziemlich beschwerlich

Arrived at 2.30pm. Although it was mentioned on the website and on their info brochure there wasn’t any small menu available in the restaurant anymore. Kitchen closed at 2pm, this was an uncomfortable surprise as I hoped to still order a bite from the ‘small menu’.

For diner, I couldn’t make a reservation because the restaurant was full. When checking at 7.30pm I still noticed a lot of empty tables. I was forced to walk to the town centre for 15 minutes to grab dinner.

When arriving back I wanted to have a final drink in the bar but again this one was closed (on their website it said to be open from 6pm till 01am). They offered to give me a seat in the lounge next to a very loud piano… very disappointed in this experience. Don’t promote services if you aren’t able to offer them.

Great place to choose for Bad Herrenalb
Pros:

the hotel is ideally located in Bad Herrenalb offering the best view over the surrounding area.
the personnel was very helpful and friendly
nice room, spacious and well equipped
the underground parking is also a plus
the pool is sufficient for relaxation

Solide renoviertes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal
Pros:

Geräumiges, sauberes, renoviertes Zimmer
- Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal
- Tolle Liegen im Spa Bereich, schöner Blick zum Entspannen
- Außerordentlich kompetente Massage
- optisch schön aufbereitetes Frühstücksbuffet, viele frische Dips, sieht man nicht so oft

Cons:

- Check In 16 Uhr hart durchgezogen
- Fotos wirkten moderner in der Inneneinrichtung als es dann der Fall war - alte Substanz zwar liebevoll renoviert, Farbwahl und auch Holz empfand ich aber als sehr drückend und altbacken, versetzte mich nicht so in Wellnesstimmung
- Ruheraum für Sauna zu klein, es gab dafür viele Liegen (wirklich gemütlich) im Schwimmbad, dort war es dann aber sehr laut
- Kein frisch gepresster OSaft - kein Vollkornbrot
- Sehr eng an andere Häuser gepresst, Vorteil nah am Park

Perfekter Ort zum Relaxen.
Pros:

Ein perfektes Hotel, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Gegend ist wundervoll und das spezielle Zimmer "Waldklang" passt perfekt dazu. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und vielseitig.
