Ein sehr schönes historisches Hotel in einer typischen Kleinstadt.
Achtung.Sonntags haben dort alle Gaststätten, außer einem Saloon ab 21 Jahre, geschlossen.
Staying at the Historic Hotel Greybull felt like taking a journey back in time. This remarkable building dates back to the early twentieth century, and the owners have put great care, love, and dedication into preserving its history for future generations.
Every detail invites you to slow down and look around. The rooms are decorated in a beautiful historic style, with antique furniture and many carefully preserved details. Walking through the hotel feels almost like visiting a museum, but at the same time, it is cozy, clean, and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious, and even the dining room was full of character. We wanted to sit there longer simply to look at the old photographs, furniture, and historic objects surrounding us.
This is a special place for people who enjoy history and appreciate hotels with personality and soul. It is not a standard modern hotel, and that is exactly what makes it so memorable. Guests who are willing to step away from contemporary luxury for a while will find themselves in a place filled with stories, memories, and the atmosphere of another era.
You can feel that the owners are preserving this hotel with genuine love and respect for its past. We are grateful that places like this still exist and are being cared for so thoughtfully.
Very authentic
Not a fan of sharing a toilet room but there were 2 ladies and 2 men’s - exceptionally clean. There was a sink and shower in each room.
Das Hostel ist mit Liebe eingerichtet, sehr sauber.
Staff very helpful and accommodating. I love antiques and old architecture and they did a great restoration
The first room we had was up steep stairs and was very difficult to get to, but when staff was told this we were provided a better room on ground floor
The bed was very old and made noise whenever I moved.
Nice people there who try to keep history alive. Bed was clean and big, room was spacious. Dinner in the speak easy was good and had live music.
Room at the front had noise from the street. Breakfast was minimal and the staff threw away the groceries I left in the fridge.
Quaint historic hotel. Staff was very friendly.
Steep stairs to room, but they didn't have elevators in the late 1800's so it was expected. Would have like to have dinner at the hotel, but it was not open for food yet. Look forward to staying again when food is an option.
The banana bread was great and it was nice to have yogurt and other items available as well. Myles was absolutely great. Let us check in early, made changes we needed to our reservation, TWICE! Great communication.
The stairs were tough, but we made it! That was the only thing.
The staff, the ambiance and historical feel, the location
Even though I said I liked the location, the traffic noise being right there at the busy intersection was loud in the AM. But I'll take the location over the noise.
Le couple qui gère l’hôtel est vraiment adorable.
Ras
This hotel is GREAT. The town feels so safe. I dealt with staff only via phone and text. This old hotel has creaky floors and it costs extra to get a room with a bathroom in it (my room had a sink and shower, and the toilet rooms were across the hall). The bed was very comfy and I got a good night's sleep. I don't know how many other people were staying the night I was there, so not sure if the footsteps I heard outside my door were from one of the ghosts that reportedly haunt this place, or from another guest!
Lighting in the shower (in the corner of the room) needs to be improved. Otherwise, this old place had everything I needed.
The hotel is old but keeping in the era.
Clean rooms; helpful staff!
Nice room.
