The Charmant Hotel

The setting matched only in the service, the Charmant offers a beautiful view of riverside park. Offers Delicious food and has one of the only rooftop bars overlooking the town and bluffs. The rooms a spacious and showers massive, beds soft, and linen fresh. I have loved this space since the first time I went in it after it's revival, the original wood floors somehow imbibing the air with a hint of the chocolate factory it once was. The building a true salute to a history with a tasteful elevation. The price was surprisingly affordable for the quality of service offered, as always I will be back, for food, drinks or even a close get away.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed cocktails (Yummy Sangria) on the rooftop bar. The room was clean, beautiful, and very chic! Oh, and the bathroom... everything you'd expect from a 5 Star Hotel. Our view of Riverside Park was perfect, especially for the sunset. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning as well. The Brulée French Toast was to die for! Highly recommend for any occasion.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Stayed one night with my girlfriend, we had a very relaxing time from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great cup of coffee in the morning from the cafe.

What an amazing place! It is next to a park along the Mississippi. The room was very comfortable and the bed was excellent. We slept well! It was quiet!
Friends recommended it and they were right. The lobby bar was fun and the chocolate was tasty.

So we arrived to excellent hospitality Dog bowls / chocolates /wine/ free morning coffee and two free rooftop drinks- that’s just the start! Exquisite rooms ! Location location as well to river and beauty ! Needed doggie bathroom bags - waters ! Just endless smiles and service around every corner ! Well trained staff indeed! Will be back !

The Charmant Hotel is a great place to stay. First class service from the Valet to the whole staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Roof top bar is great for a drink or appetizer. Will stay there again.

We were upgraded to a lovely suite due to an ac issues. We were given chocolates upon arrival. The nice young man at the front desk was lovely and helpful. Our room 504 was gorgeous - stay here if you can. The hotel is beautiful and unique.

What a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location! The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotless, spacious and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The find and drink is delicious. And the chocolates!!!

We took this trip as our annual adventure to somewhere we had never been. We were overwhelmed the moment we arrived at The Charmant. We were greeted with smiles and open arms before we even walked inside. Our luggage was taken for us and our car was parked for us. We immediately felt like royalty. The staff inside greeted us like old friends and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The history was completely charming, and you could feel the love that permeated the walls through the years. The decor is just lovely in the cozy little Coffee Shop, and the bar is delightfully attractive, and it draws you right in! The restaurant ambiance is amazingly serene, and the food was so delicious, we didn't want to leave. Then there was our room.... we were stopped in our tracks at just the bathroom! The claw tub and robes, the beautiful tile work... again, you could feel the history seeping through the walls. The bed was SO comfortable and our view of the Mississippi was grand. There is not enough space to go on with the pure delight we had at this stay. Thank you to all of the staff that took the time to talk to us and make us feel extra special.

Nice boutique hotel with an interesting history of the building. Friendly staff! Room was very nice with high ceilings. Missed the rooftop bar because we weren't aware of the hours. Great location to walk to the river, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

The Charmont truly has an abundance of historic charm right down to the fancy chocolate selection, free upon checkin. Guest rooms are gorgeous, fresh, and clean bringing the perfect sense of “brand new” yet set in historic decor that transports a person to simpler days and adventure in time. Conveniently located downtown with valets who make you feel so well cared for, the general customer service is top notch warm and friendly!

The restaurant and coffee shop are very good too. Only wish there had been more gluten free options.

This was our second visit and we’ll come again.

This place is beautiful. The fully restored building is charming. The staff was amazing. It can be hard traveling with a dog, but the staff made us feel welcome. Great food, clean room, and a great setting. Will stay anytime I come through lacrosse
