Quiet romantic amazing food

A hidden gem in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Beautifully put together boutique hotel located in an old renovated chocolate factory building. Cozy and elegant, lovely staff, delicious food. Rooms beautifully decorated and beds comfortable. One of my favorite hotels of all time. Highly recommended.

The Charmant is a truly special experience! I’ve stayed numerous times, and am always impressed with the very clean and beautiful rooms, the outstanding service, and excellent food and beverages they serve on site. The Charmant is honestly one of my favorite hotels in the world that I’ve stayed at - which is saying a lot! I can’t recommend it enough.

My Wife and I decided to celebrate our 28th Wedding Anniversary this year by taking a mini-vacation in LaCrosse, WI.
We picked The Charmant Hotel for our stay based upon reviews provided by others and we were not disappointed. The hotel is in a historic building and is absolutely charming inside and out. Being located in the heart of downtown and on the river was a plus in that we could walk to many of the downtown venues as well as along the riverwalk. Our room was well kept and very modern and comfortable and it had a fantastic view of the Mississippi River as well as of the many magnificent Eagles circling over the river. We found everyone of the staff to be very welcoming and wanting to go out of their way to make certain we were being attended to and enjoying our stay.
Would definitely recommend The Charmant as a must stay when in LaCrosse, WI!

The room was clean, modern, and we were able to check in early. The inclusions are impressive, the receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and the experience was overall good. Staff was all friendly and greeted us on our way to the room.

I love the attention to detail in The Charmant Hotel. Upon arriving yesterday I was given a short history lesson on how it was built in 1898 as the Funke candy co, but company went bankrupt in the Great Depression. Throughout the hotel it still honors it’s origin by having a gourmet chocolate counter, items from the candy company displayed in all rooms and dining areas and have kept the original flooring, brick and wood beams.

What a beautiful, comfortable hotel!! Everything you need and more! The staff and service was top notch! Efficient and friendly! The food and service in the restaurant and at the bar were top notch! Will definitely being staying again!

This is a fantastic hotel. Great location, great rooms, super friendly staff. I grew up in La Crosse, it used to be the only choices downtown were the Radisson or the Residence Inn (both before the Charmant opened). There are other, and more, choices now but none of them can match the ambience of the Charmant. Book early, because it fills up!

Great ambiance, great breakfast and coffee, EXCEPTIONAL staff!! So glad to see that level of customer service still exists. Somebody is hiring and training right! Can't wait to come back for dinner sometime.

We were forced to leave early due to weather and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We really appreciate the personal service and it is one reason why we always stay at the Charmant when we visit LaCrosse.
