Zentrale Lage im kleinen, schönen Ort. Das Zimmer war gepflegt und sauber, das Frühstück gut.

Cons:

Eine große Gruppe hatte abends die allgemeinen Räume belegt, mirgebrachtes Essen ausgebreitet, Fußball im Fernsehen geschaut und lautstark alles in Beschlag genommen. Das war sehr störend. Der Preis für eine Übernachtung am Wochenende war zu hoch.

Comfortabel verblijf vlakbij paleis.
Pros:

Het hotel is modern ingericht, de kamer comfortabel, fris en schoon. Op loopafstand ligt het hertogelijk paleis, dat zeer de moeite waard is (rondleiding duurt 1 uur). Het hotel beschikt over een klein zwembad. Het ontbijt was prima.

Lovely quirky hotel.
Pros:

A lovely quirky hotel in the interesting town of Vila Viçosa. Whilst not large, the room was clean, modern and very comfortable and had a balcony with a nice view. The bathroom had lots of the locally sourced marble. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and professional so the welcome we received in comparison to other hotels was memorable. The breakfast was very good too.

Cons:

The room price including the breakfast was good value without the dogs but because we had to take our 2 small dogs., we incurred an extra €50 ( €25 per dog ) which seemed high, given that we left early and didn’t use the facilities. If we return, would do so without the dogs.
There’s no onsite parking so have to park on road or in nearby vicinity although there was plenty of free public parking available within

Estupendo y céntrico
Pros:

Fuimos 7 de familia por el cumpleaños de unos de mis hermanos y todo un acierto. Nos sentimos como en casa, el personal encantador y pudimos disfrutar de todas las instalaciones como "nuestras". El desayuno fantástico, de calidad y de cantidad. La ubicación estupenda. Para repetir.

Gostámos muito de tudo. Tiveram uma enorme atenção ao detalhe e ajustaram o horário do pequeno-almoço para se adequar ao evento que estava a decorrer. Excelente!
