Very friendly staff.
I made a mistake with the safe and the receptionist saved me! Can’t thank her enough as I had a flight in few hours and it was 2 am!!!
There was no ventilation in the bathroom which made it quite smelly and the bath tub was too high. I am a tall woman 178 cm and I found id with a bit of challenge to get in and out of the bath tub. Would definitely ask for shower instead.
There was mould in the bathroom and the bath shield wasn’t clean.
I gave full star as it was really cheap and I only stayed therefor 2 hours as I had to go to the airport at 3 am.
For longer stay I think it wasn’t clean.
A few years ago the hotel was of a very good standard. Now I see slight wear, but for this price you probably won't get anything better in Yerevan.
The hotel is nice, prices are good. I took the very large family suite, close to 100m2. Everything went fine. The hotel is clean but the beds are not the most comfortable ones. The breakfast is very small in choices but is ok. Just the fruits that are presented were often in bad shape and sometimes non eatable. The front office is very fluent in English and very helpful. That's a good plus.
Overall i recommend, it's also very were located
Very close to the UN! Convenient and safe location. Carpets need to be cleaned (or better replaced with wood floors for cleanliness. Breakfast is great, but coffee was weak...
relatively quiet hotel. close to republic square. breakfast could be improved. wifi was good and hot showers.
It was a great hotel. Very near to everything.
However, the check in time took a long time.
We waited for so long as the receptionist need to do a lot of calls in order to confirm the reservation,
We felt as if we are not welcome since they were not ready upon our arrival.
We have booked for 3 rooms and we arrived @ 5pm. Check in time is 2pm.; it means for that long. They were not able to prepare our stay.
I was excited to be in that hotel but just disappointed by the time during check in.
Aside from the waiting time... everything was great. Breakfast was good. Room was affordable and hotel location is near to republic square. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The place is not noisy at night. It was fine.
Very friendly, pleasant & helpful staff.
The location is excellent for access to Old Town Yerevan but the street location leaves
something to be desired.
The hotel is quite close to the center of Yerevan, but not so close as to be noisy. Yerevan isn't a noisy city and gets quiet quickly at night. The front desk staff is very helpful. Breakfast is downstairs and should set you up for the morning. Great worker that keeps the coffee/tea water topped up.
We stayed on the second and third floors. In our opinion the third floor rooms were better. Your experience may differ. I'd have no problem staying again.
if you want to drive there ,not recommend at all, because their police were seeking bribes !!!!so much
The hotel is a little run down but not that bad. The bed is very hard. My main problem was with the breakfast buffet. The hot items were cold. With all the great fruit in the country their fruit was old and dried out.
Our stay was ok. The hotel is in a great area right near Republic Square. The main negative was that the bed was extremely hard.
We had a nice size suit and we were comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and are in the heart of Yerevan and we paid a great price. The street is a little off but everything you get makes up for it.
My mom and I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and loved the experience. The hotel staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The breakfast and amenities were great.
We were able to walk to many locations from our hotel.
My stay at this hotel was ok. The location is very good but I am sure that you will find a similar/better hotel nearby. Friends stayed at the Minotel Barsam and then moved on to another place which they preferred. I tried to book an extra night, so did friends which was not a good experience. Although online there were available rooms, all of us were told that the hotel was fully booked. I am not sure if this was the case as we were part of a tour group but it was strange and frustrating. Although the hotel was ok, the location very good and some of the staff absolutely lovely, I would choose a different hotel next time.
The best thing about this hotel is how quickly and completely they corrected a problem. When our room ac did not work well enough, they immediately moved us to a different nearby room where everything was fine. Staff was great.
Ground floor rooms have a view on a concrete wall. Shower is not designed propertly so it is always flooding floor. Carpeting in the room was a little bit old with a spot left by a hot iron. I was happy for tight matress and everything else is OK.
I loved my stay at Minotel Suites. Clean rooms, friendly staff, yummy food, and close to the center of town in a safe neighborhood. Look for deals on booking websites, because it can be pricey otherwise.
If you want to be close to Republic Square this hotel is a good choice. The rooms are suites, so you get a small kitchen and decent living room and good size bedroom. But get ready for a not so nice view... overlooking abandoned half built buildings... although very close to Republic Square you have to walk through a shady alleyway/street to get to the hotel. I felt safe, but not aesthetically pleasing. Lastly based on the pictures of the other hotels, this one seemed to be the best in its price range and staff was friendly.
I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the facilities were maintained in good condition. The wi-fi was always accessible and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The hotel was located in a neighbourhood with about 5 minutes' walk to the Republic Square, so it was convenient to reach the major conference venues as well as letting me have a touch of the Armenian feel by walking through the streets and the local shops.
Local stores and supermarket were nearby while the key visiting sites, the parks and the flea market could be accessed within 15-20 minutues walk.
Everything was great! Especially for the value! The only thing that I wish was different was for the best to be more comfortable. But overall I had a great experience! I would definitely recommend it!
