Upon check-in I inquired about breakfast and was told between 8:00 and 10:am on the terrace. Had a late night, slept in and thought that I missed out, at 10:05 am I hear a knock at the door, They brought breakfast to my room, WOW! Second and Third morning as well of my 3 night stay, awesome. The Staff here make you feel right at home, also arranged affordable tours for FREE! nice. Left money in my wallet in the room along with laptop, gadgets etc. and nothing ever went missing. Felt quite safe here too, I will surely stay here again just because of the way the staff treat you. Thanks again for my enjoyable stay, Hotel Karma.
I have stayed in the fancy all inclusive resorts but I wanted to be in a safe clean place in the city. Hotel Karma provided that for me. The owner lives on sight and is very friendly and the manager Carlos was very accomodating with any questions I had. The room was clean and had a nice desk for my computer work. My only drawbacks were there was not an onsite restaurant where I could grab breakfast or lunch and the nicer breakfast lunch spots were a 10 minute cab ride away. The cable and wireless did not always work the best but I didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it was not an issue. If you are looking for a nice cost effective in town lodging option, Hotel Karma was perfect and I never felt like there was a security issue at anytime. I will book them again on my next trip to La Romana
I would not complain much about hotel if the price was lower but you would expect more for price, very small room, small bathroom, and the taxes and surcharges at checkout are outrages, about 23.00 dollars more a night
This is a Mid Category 3 Star Hotel and NOT a Luxury Hotel. Keeping that in Mind, I checked in and it was "Woh" factor - I was pleasantly Surprised.
Staff Members are EXTREMELY helpful, they will go out of their way to help you and ensure that you are comfortable and you get whatever you need, they are very friendly, pleasing, and accommodative - whether you need to change the currency, order food or whatever may be the case.
They keep cold water on the Hall Way for the Guests, WiFi is FREE and pretty strong the Signal is. Some Resorts charge $30 for couple of hours of WiFi whereas Hotel Karma gave it Free.
Carlos, the Manager very nice man - he speaks very good English and will ensure that everything goes well with the Guests.
Basic hotel with big rooms and air conditioning. Is a cheap hotel for spend the night amd save some money
