This hotel was great value, we were on holiday for 3 nights and stayed in 3 different hotels this was around £90 cheaper than our 2 other hotels and was the best value for money. The room was a reasonable size, the bathroom felt a little outdated and had no walk in shower, but more than adequate for our 1 night, the room was clean, a fan was provided but we were then in near 30 degree heat so air con would've been nice but not necessarily always needed, the food and drink were exceptional both dinner and breakfast, I had a steak which was well worth the money, and the breakfast selection was extensive and was very good. Overall very happy with our stay.

Stunning setting, staff were so friendly and helpful, food was lovely.
WiFi was patchy, not good enough to watch apps on tv.
Nice friendly,hotel, and upgraded to a suite so very happy on arrival, although we were only staying for one night. The evening meal was good, and the breakfast too.
The only problem was noise. The room was hot so we had to open the windows and the noise from the bar below from people outside prevented us sleeping. The noise started again at 6.45am in the morning as people talking outside again. The afternoon tea was ok, a bit disappointing as too many cakes and only one very small scone each.

I can't think of anything. Couldn't reach blind on window in my room, as I'm small in height, but not really a problem.

Nothing luxurious about breakfast. Fruit was soggy tasted as though it was left overnight. No choice of omelette.
The receptionist was so friendly on arrival, talking to my daughter. We got upgraded to a lovely room although the ordinary rooms were lovely also. Beautiful setting and walk down to the lake, full of wild areas. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. Very fast service even though they were flat out for breakfast. The pool was warm and well maintained.
That i didn't get to do the spa ! That's for next time !
