We spent 4 nights at the hotel and it was really fantastic. Very good breakfast, rooms are big, and clean. Very nice & comfortable bathroom. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Location: about 35-45 minutes from city centre (Citta alta) on foot, about 30 - 40 minutes by bus (depending on traffic). All bus stops within 3-10 minutes walk. A perfect place for a Bergamo/Milan city break. Best of all: the stuff and the atmosphere- it's definately not one of the franchise-like hotels. It's a place filled with family atmosphere (really!!!) where the history of Garibaldi era Italy speaks to you from every single spot. A place with soul - I will definately stay there , if I happy to visit Bergamo again.
