I have visited a few times and never been disappointed. I live in South Side Glasgow, usually meet here with my friend who lives in Bathgate so ideal middle point for us to catch up. On 06/03/26 I travelled through with another friend from South Side Glasgow and my 6-month old grandson to meet our friend from Bathgate. Car park is spacious and can always find a place. Just check in your car registration with peace of mind car is safe (and free ....a bonus these days!) Decor from entrance throughout is stunning! We sat in bar area and were attended to by the absolutely charming Antony 🥰 What a lovely boy who was very attentive, polite, helpful and had great banter, even complimenting me asking if I was "mum" of my grandson! I know he was being polite but he made my day nonetheless! Antony showed not only attention to us ladies but also to my grandson too which added to our lovely experience at Dakota. As I said , I have been a few times and never been disappointed. Food is always delicious. My grandson is now on solids being 6 months so ordered the tomato pasta from the children's menu ....he thoroughly enjoyed, eating a fair bit (and gran helped him with a good few spoonfuls and can confirm the pasta was delicious!) Only point to make the visit more satisfying would be the option for a wee cake tray (scones, carrot cake slice etc) for us to share with our tea/coffee after our main course 😜😋 but all in all a wonderful experience and recommend immensely. Antony is a credit to your team 🥰
I had never visited before , but had arranged to meet friends here for lunch. .One friend coming from Bathgate, and myself and another friend coming from Glasgow, so the perfect half way point for a meet up.
The exterior of the building look nice, plenty of parking spaces, and entry into the foyer and sitting areas didn't disappoint.
Beautifully decorated and furnished, and a pleasure to spend time in.
Loved the resident little shaggy dog.
The waiter Antony, was an absolute breath of fresh air. He was well mannered, attentive and had a sense of humour. He was very 'present' and happy to be there, which can be quite a rarity these days .Antony really looked after us for the duration of our afternoon.
The food was lovely, but would have been nice to have a tray bake or scone available with our coffee too.
When we schedule in another friend's catch up, we will very much look forward to returning .
Excellent facilities beautiful hotel with very helpful staff
Excellent hospitality from Daniel … cannot thank him enough for the lovely evening. Went out of his world to make us feel welcome as two families with two little kids. Will be back!!
We had a 2 night stay for my husbands 65th Birthday. Everything was 100%

Location and standard/minimal breakfast buffet menu
We really enjoy the excellent service and the cocktails. Been to Eurocentral twice and Edinburgh already. Thinking Glasgow will be next
There were lots of dirty areas. In the dining room & bedrooms; In at corners, places I guess you’re not paying close attention to. Pillow situation was adults, there should have been an additional pair of alternative type. Toast served fully 15 minutes before breakfast, we wanted to eat it together & there’s were lots of plates including ours going back with food untouched- there’s a reason for that.
Business Trip, Clean, feels luxurious. Staff are really professional and friendly. Food is incredible.
Very nice decor and big room.
Adding service charge and VAT to drinks, that should be the advertised price. Sugar spilled in tea tray, was not clean. Also blind did not fully cover the window, letting light in early on.
Lovely hotel staff were all very friendly. When we checked in there was a lovely welcome message. Room was lovely. When we went down to dinner our table wasn't ready yet and we were asked to take a seat and was bright drinks over. When our table was ready there was a nice message on the table for our 40th and we got a free glass of presseco each which was a lovely touch. Dinner and service was really good.
Fabulous hotel. Great location, Rooms and the whole hotel are beautiful. Excellent food in the bar and great breakfast
