Good location in the middle of Bath. Uses the Bath spa water for its own spa.
Felt it was too expensive for what you get and I have stayed in many far superior 5 star hotels. The pool and spa was underwhelming after using spas in Europe. UHT milk in room and the breakfast was pretty basic. They wanted a service charge on checking out for hotel charge which I have never seen before, totally not worth it and would not have paid if there were not 15 people queuing behind me waiting to check out, as it enough staff on the desk.
Also you can only use the spa 8-10 in the morning or 7-9 in the evening as a guest or have to pay £70 even as guest to use the spa. Just price gauging and don’t waste your time and money and not worth it. I have paid a lot more for Hotels and got infinitely more than here. Never again.
Location and Concierge
Overpriced
Small rooms
No AC - a problem on the hottest May day recorded
The Gainsborough suite was absolutely lovely! Champagne welcome, staff lovely and helpful. The food was amazing.
Lack of parking but wasn't that bad as car park across the road.
Location
No personal touches , generic large hotel
The staff - nothing was to much to ask. The facilities were amazing
N/A
Adequate but refilling of juices etc was not great
Booking a table for breakfast first hotel I have every said at requesting that and I stay more than 100 nights a year in hotels across the world
Excellent service
Room was lovelly, location is very central to eveything you need to do in Bath. Staff was helpful and friendly, Breakfast was lovely! this was a wedding anniversary trip and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine in the room from the hotel which was a lovely touch
Parking, sent numerous emails enquirying about parking and got no response. eventually after driving around a bit as it was a weekend, found parking in the shopping mall car park for £18 a day instead of the £40 this hotel would have charged . After parking and checking in we got a call asking if we still needed car parking from the hotel concierge .the distance from the mall car park to the hotel was less than 5mins so it wasnt too bad. I think the hotel parking communication should be better and the prices more competitive. didnt ruin our stay though just worth noting if youre driving
Everything to offer including spa facilities
Nothing comes to mind
