Pine Bungalow

Worse hotel ever in Krabi, Thailand. I've booked and paid for my stay but the hotel was saying no booking, so I decided to call Agoda, turn on the speaker in front of them, the Agoda staff said the booking was confirmed! I have all proofs Bank transaction, confirmation number but still wouldn't let us stay. They're not going to be responsible for whatsoever. This incident happened at night so I had to go looking for a hotel during the high season which is pretty hard to find and all prices are high. Honestly it was a very terrible experience.

STAY AWAY if you can!!! Everything started good in the beginning. After few days toilet started warming once in a while (didn't flush every time and takes about 40 minutes to fill the tank). Complained few times but unfortunately sabai sabai😊. No cleaning whatsoever, you have to go to reception and ask for toilet paper and fresh towels. The room is full of mildew and when told the reception the answer was it's ok. By the end of our stay we had to fill toilet water tank with the small water hose to flush. Last night was the punch line. Told the receptionist that toilet doesn't flush again and no water is filling the tank. They send a woman with a toilet plunger, who gave me a plunger and left. She told us that guy will come to fix the water in 20 minutes but guess what happened? I had to plunge it myself, no one came to fix the water and somehow all water stopped including shower and sink. Had to check out and go to the airport dirty but the owner and receptionist was extremely polite when taking our money upon check out. When told the owner about all the problems, he smiled, said ok and asked me where are we going. Is that important to where we are heading? To make it short, the place is good if you don't care about anything, used to living in the jungle without simple amenities. Otherwise there is a great place almost across the street we found with great food, pleasant owners and looks very clean compared to extremely bare minimum we encountered for over two weeks.

Estuvimos a finales de julio y es temporada baja. Todo muy tranquilo. A veces estabamos solos en la playa. Estuvimos 3 dias y no te hacen la limpieza del bungalow. Igual si lo pides te vienen, pero no nos qiedó claro. Pero los exteriores si que lo barrian de hojas todos los dias. Personal servicial, pero sin brillar por su simpatía. La playa preciosa pero la podrian limpiar de plasticos que trae la marea o que deja la gente, de vez en cuando. Cuidado con tirar papel al WC porque se nos atascó el primer 2 veces pero lo arreglaron enseguida. No lo indica en ningun sitio q no tires papel, el recepcionista se molestó porque no lo tenemos normalizado. Debes de llevar comida porque cierran cocina a las 17h. El primer dia tuvimos q salir a comprar a 2 Km. Y les alquilamos una moto(3€). Parece q tienen un chofer q te lleva donde quieras gratis durante el dia. Pero me lo tuvo q decir una huesped. En general bien, pero no te informan de nada y debes de ir preguntando todo.

Rooms are simples and perfectly clean, just like we expect.
A lost paradise !

I first went to Pine Bungalow 30 years ago and not much has changed. The same family own it and it is run with the same love and care that defined it the first time I stayed there.
What has improved is the quality of the bungalows, they are clean and comfortable, though not grand.
The grounds and beach are well maintained and there is generally a lovely vibe.
The food is the best you'll eat in Thailand with lots of variety.
What really makes this place however is the staff, Nim gets a special mention but they are really all lovely people.
I miss it already and I only left two days ago!
Can't wait to return.

20 minutes out from Ao nang,500baht cab ride.Beautiful beachfront set up.Basic but clean chalet type bungalows,felt safe but security is not that great,however,hospitality,helpfulness and the food is second to none!.We would have liked to have stayed longer but had a wedding to get to, so had only two nights here.Lovely people,very very helpful plus some of the best food to be eaten in the area.

My partner and I always make a point of staying at Pine Bungalows whenever we come to Thailand, this has now been our four time. I feel compelled to write a review as over the four years everything about Pine bungalows has remained consistent, including the staff.
The staff are always lovely and hospitable, and the food exceptional...this place never disappoints.
Rooms are also nice and clean, and surrounded by nature. It really is a slice of paradise here. ❤️✨

We found Pine Bungalows a great spot away from the chaos of Ao Nang. Simple small bungalows sandwiched on a quiet stretch of beach. Staff very nice. Food excellent especially the Thai cooking. Service excellent.

The 2 or 3 ladies in the kitchen really know what they are doing. This may have been the most flavourful food we have had since arriving in Thailand 2 weeks ago. We had a salad with crispy tofu and cucumbers, delicious...you can choose which type of noodles you want for your noodle dishes and the pad Thai was fab. We sent some friends who live locally there with visiting parents and they loved it as well. The menu is extensive and veggie meals are available.

I stayed in December in beachfront bungalow. private beach with peaceful surroundings, beachfront restaurant with good Thai food in reasonable price. Bungalow however is rather small but looking at the private beach in front , hammock and beach chairs facing beautiful sea is no one would want to stay in room.
This place is in klong muang , almost 20 min drive from Ao nang (main hub of Krabi) and does not have anything around it to do or go for but they also provide scooter at very low rent or can arrange taxi for you.
So if you are looking for peaceful beach vacation , best option for you.

The hotel has small quaint cottages many of them facing the beach from which one can go into the sea in a matter of seconds. The locality is very quiet and almost rural.

The staff are very friendly and the food had variety and was really tasty.

The beach in front of the cottages was clean and almost like a private beach.

Only drawback was the water pressure in the bathroom and the door sealing could have been better.

Neat and tidy AC bungalows on the beach. The food was delicious, and inexpensive. The resort is out of the nearest town by a mile and out of Ao Nang by 7-10 miles, so you will need to be comfortable either hanging out on the beach or renting a vehicle or paying 300 Baht for a Taxi Truck to get to town. We did all of the above and really liked our days of walking up and down our almost private stretch of beach.

The beach itself has almost no other bungalows on it so its quiet private. The beach sand has a lot of coral and shells in it- so while it is not "sugar sand" you are likely to find something interesting. There was some debris washing up every morning. In the water there are rock formations that are underwater during high tide and exposed during low tide. We found some interesting fish in these. The kids enjoyed seeing hermit crabs each night on the beach.

The staff was helpful and pleasant. We would definitely come back.

Amazing place, arrived at night under the cover of darkness after 2 nights (2 long ) in Bangkok. Woke up 15 mtrs from white sandy beach and crystal clear ocean. Hammocks hanging from palm trees beautiful sunshine. Great food prepared fresh. Transfer driver was a complete gentleman and staff at pine bungalows were very helpful. This place was exactly what I needed to unwind from work/life chaos. Will return in the future for sure.

Its really awesome and excellent stay as well as lovely food, transportation services. Perfect place for honeymoon couples and wonderful relaxation at beach. We had very good rooms attach to beach. We were pleased to enjoy memorable stay at Pine Bungalow...

We had a great time here - the resort is very laid back and away from all the action, so you’re pretty much confined to it. Beach was nice with great sunsets. However, there were a lot of jellyfish.

Room was dated and a bit skanky but was fine to sleep in. Not enough water pressure to wash your hair though. Food was nice but expensive: dinner and breakfast for 4 cost over 2000 THB and we ate very simply. Overall, a nice cheap place to stay if you want to be totally away from crowds and civilisation.

They organised a songthaew for us to get us back to Aonang.

I really enjoyed the bungalows, the people, the food and especially the beach. I loved that our bungalow had a lil outdoor cat that would stand guard for us haha! A fantastic, low traffic beach (though we went in feb/march aka low season but its perfect weather) that has plenty of restaurants about 10-15 mins walk away.... make sure you eat at the place with the catfish, the chef wears a sombrero on the main road! thanks for the lovely stay, the great drivers and staff, and the most relaxing place we have been!

Stayed 4 nights at Pine Bungalow in a beach front bungalow which was right on the beach. Stunning private beach with great views. The bungalow was great. Didn't have a mini bar but otherwise perfect. The restaurant offers a large menu and everything i tried was delicious. Very reasonable prices as well. The staff and service was excellent and helped me book transport and ferry tickets without any problems. The location is good even without transport can walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

Traveling around Thailand my husband and I met another couple who recommend us this hotel. We changed our vacation schedule a little bit, showed up there and got ourselves a room. What a find!

It’s simple but very cozy, lost in Khlong Muang, with what could be considered its private beach. Good prices for peaceful surroundings. Food was great.

We stayed as long as we could! If I had heard about this place before I wouldn’t even bother coming to Ao Nang.

Very family friendly resort (kids 8,11,13). Restaurant is the best value around Khlong Muang beach with a good variety of Thai and Euro food. Staff are very pleasant and happy to have you there. The bungalows are metres from the beach and relatively clean. Our kids enjoyed playing with all of the pet cats that live on site. The beachfront is not spectacular, but good enough for swimming and beach combing. More than anything, this place is quiet! Stay for a few days and then keep exploring.

We(me & my husband)stayed here for 3days.This is our 1st time in Krabi & we were searching for quite place.our dicision for choosing Pine bungalow was perfect.Quite place,personal beach,clean room & tasty foods make your holiday perfect.staffs are too good.If you are searching place far from beach party choose pine bungalow blindly.
