Pleasant stay with pleasant staff and retry location.
Pros:

It’s set in a very pretty location. The breakfast was very good. The staff were all pleasant.

Cons:

We stayed in the upper level of the Loft building. It was a very pleasant room but people walking past to get to their rooms could see into our room easily. We could close the curtains but the view was so pretty. The bathroom was very small.

Gorgeous and comfortable
Pros:

The view was spectacular. Unfortunately, we did not stay long enough to enjoy all the different things they offered. Everything was very clean and well organized. Nice location. They have a heated pool, kayaks, fire pit, a dock. The flowers everywhere were beautiful. Nice hot breakfast of assorted variety

Cons:

Parking was a little bit of a challenge. A bit isolated but that might be exactly what others want

staff were very kind. Hana at front desk and people in restaurant.

Cons:

We were charged for small dog after two days, but we had informed reservation people and front desk we had a small dog when we signed in. Happy to pay, just should be clear ahead.

La posizione sul mare ed il balconcino con sdraio e vista oceano.
Ottima colazione

Cons:

Non puliscono la stanza tutti i giorni e quando lo fanno la pulizia è superficiale e viene fatta tardi (anche alle 18!).
Il ristorante è chiuso a pranzo e si è costretti a spostarsi per prendere il cibo

Great location, but pretty pricey.
Pros:

The location is gorgeous. It's located on the ocean and while I wish the beach was a bit more accessible to swim, it was still so pretty. We also enjoyed the restaurant - the food is very, very good. Our kids had fun at the pool.

Cons:

Our room was right next to their sewer system, so it smelled very much like sewage every time we walked out our door. Luckily, no where else on the premise smelled. Also, our room was very small and the shower was dirty. I think we paid too much for what we got, but we made the best of it.

The bathroom was tiny and the toilet seat was a little lower than the top of the tub very disappointed. The service at the restaurant wasn't very good

A restful stay with relaxing activities.
Pros:

Smuggler's Cove is an ideal destination for families who want lots to do for themselves and the kids while not being hectic or loud. The large lawns give plenty of room for people to spread out, and the outdoor games and a lovely pool with a view of the bay help provide pleasant and relaxing activity. The staff were friendly, thoughtful, and helpful, and the on-site restaurant has ample seating and delicious food. There's even a deck if you like to enjoy breakfast outside. The room was comfortable and quiet, even though there were a lot of guests on the property. We'd definitely come back.

I would certainly stay here again if I was up in Boothbay.
Pros:

Location and staff were amazing. Pool and the ocean. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

Cons:

Some aspects of the building were sketchy. The upper deck and the stairs were shaky. Not to code due to age. we were on the bottom floor but our friends were upstairs.

Cons:

Buildings and rooms are very outdated. In need of painting and general maintenance (I.e. the toilet had a loose handle, etc.). It needs a luxe touch.
