Hotel congortable et très bien situé.
Pros:

Emplacement top, dans le centre ville avec accès au port pour excursions en bateaux et proche de tous les monuments historiques à voir.
C'est un des plus vieux batiments de la rue de la liberté, typique avec ses boiseties acajou et son old style.
Les chambres sont propres et confortables avec un balcon ou on peut prendre le soleil face au parc La Savane.
Le personbel est accueillant et souriant. Le restaurant "le Joséphine" sert un buffet créole chaque jeudi et vendredi. Réservation conseillée car réputé

I definitely hope to stay at Hotel L'Imperatrice again 👍
Pros:

The location was absolutely perfect especially in relation to the cruise ship port. It is very close to several amenities. The facilities were very clean and the antique decor was both calming and attractive. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Whenever I'm in Matinique again, Hotel L'Imperatrice will be my first choice for accommodation.

Cons:

The wifi worked in the reception area but was almost nonexistent in my room.

Pros:

You don't really need the A/C in room because there is a constant flow of fresh breeze from the nearby park which we loved. Despite not being able to speak French, the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

At 5am there was someone using a leaf blower which immediately woke us up. It had been a long day, the day before from traveling and it was a Sunday, was hoping to sleep in but that wasn't the case.
