Die normalen Doppelzimmer sind viel zu klein: kein Platz zum Kofferabstellen, kein Schrank im Zimmer. Im Bad keine Steckdose. Kaum Platz sich umzudrehen, einfach nur schlimm.
Der Pool war schmutzig und nicht zu benutzen.
Das Hotel ist zum Schlafen OK, mehr aber nicht.

The desk inside the hotel, who sets up safari, taxis, trips, etc scammed us. We ordered a taxi to take us to the airport. The men at the desk Lovemore and Robin set up a taxi, charging my friend and I $30 dollars each. The next day, the taxi did not arrive on time. We saw an airport bus and started talking to the hotel front desk man, explaining that we had paid $30 each for a taxi, but it hadn't shown up so could we get the bus. The hotel front desk worker was immediately angry on our behalf, telling us we had been severely overcharged. He told us that was unacceptable they had charged us so much for a ride to the airport and that we should report them. We tried getting our money back, but Lovemore told me I would have to give him all of my credit card information over the phone to get a refund. I declined. He then told me I had to wait at the hotel for him to bring me cash. I explained that I needed to get to the airport so could not wait. He told me that he'd look up my card information and give me a refund. He did not do that. The wonderful front desk staff gave me a business card for the management; I emailed them about this issue with no response. So I was overcharged $60 for a taxi that never came and then had to pay an additional $36 to get the bus. The front desk hotel people were great and the hotel overall was fine, but I would be cautious about any bookings you do through the safari and events desk inside the hotel. They are clearing scamming people.

I booked a Deluxe Room well in advance (January 29). Upon arrival on April 2, I checked in and paid the full Deluxe rate, only to be informed after payment that the room was no longer available and that I would be given a standard room instead.

This should have been clearly communicated in advance. In professional hotels, guests are informed before check-in, not after payment.

The hotel later refunded part of the difference, which I appreciate. However, this did not fully compensate the situation. In fact, booking a standard room on Booking.com for the same dates would have been cheaper—my brother paid less for the same room type during the same period.

The assigned room was also disappointing:
• Noisy, located next to the stairs
• A spider in the room
• Poor internet connection during the last two days

Overall, this experience reflects poor communication, pricing inconsistency, and below-standard room conditions. This does not reflect the standards expected in the hospitality industry

A bit outdated and in need of a freshen up but this is to be expected. Family room though was fairly modern.
