So far my best experience in Terrenas
Pros:

This is a gem! The place is beautiful, clean and quiet. It’s conveniently located about 300 meters away from the beach so you don’t experience the noise of traffic or businesses when it gets busy. The staff is very kind, and the hospitality is exceptional. Antonia cooks an amazing breakfast and you can feel the love she puts into it. The check-in experience was smooth, with excellent communication previous to our arrival. 10/10

Lovely stay, amazing host!
Pros:

Amazing and super helpful host. She spoke perfect English (and French and Spanish) and helped us with everything from restaurant recommendations to beach recommendations to other activities across the Samana peninsula.
Beautiful and spacious rooms/huts. Fabulous breakfasts.
Parking is on site (enclosed). It is just an 8 minute walk from the beach. Las Terranas is absolutely spectacular. Much worth visiting and staying here.

Cons:

There is a fair bit of mosquitoes in the area - not much the host can do but be ready to pack a repellent. (please don't let this distract you from this property - it is beautiful)

Впервые за 15 лет путешествий, пишу такой плохой отзыв об отеле!

Пришлось съехать через пол часа после заселения!!
Около 17.00 прибежала женщина из соседнего бунгало и сказала, что моя жена очень громко смеется и мы должны закрыть дверь в бунгало. Мы закрыли дверь и включили музыку на средней громкости маленькой колонки jbl charge 5. Через 5 минут уже в наше бунгало начала стучать хозяйка отеля, сказав нам, что мы должны себя вести тише, так как люди хотят спать (в 17.00!!!!!). Максимально не клиенториентированный и не профессиональный подход к ведению бизнеса. Впервые за все наши 15 лет путешествия по миру к нам отнеслись настолько негостеприимно и вынудили нас уехать!
Если вы веселые, молодые и энергичные люди и хотите отдыхать с комфортом и уважением к себе это место точно не для вас! Смеяться нельзя, разговаривать с открытой дверью в бунгало нельзя, слушать музыку в адекватное время и на адекватной громкости тоже нельзя, а все потому что:
1. Стоят 6 бунгало слишком близко к друг другу на очень маленькой территории.
2. Сами бунгало изготовлены из тонкого материала и соломы, шумоизоляция нулевая.

И еще одно наблюдение: кондиционер в бунгало, висит на 1 этаже, а кровать стоит на 2 этаже, горячий воздух всегда поднимается наверх и вам будет некомфортно спать.
И тут очень много комаров!

Pros:

Le bungalow était grand, spacieux et propre.
Les boissons et snack compris étaient un vrai plus.
La gentillesse du personnel était top.
La proximité des restaurants également un vrai plus.

Cons:

Cela ne nous a pas du tout dérangé mais il faut savoir qu’il y a quelque bruit de grenouilles.
Le petit déjeuner était très très très bon mais encore meilleur le dernier jour lors de la présence de la cheffe française, dommage que ce n’ai pas été le cas les 3 jours du séjour.

Une adresse à ne pas manquer.
Pros:

Tout sans exception. De l'accueil de Ana et son mari, relayé ensuite par gaby en passant par le petit dejeuner très copieux et au petit soin. Un grand merci à tous pour avoir rendu notre voyage encore plus magique. Les hébergements sont magnifiques, très bien équipés et la piscine est sublime. Merci encore nous reviendrons cest sûre.

Prachtig intiem verblijf met geweldig personeel! Veel in de buurt: mooi strand, goede restaurants.

Cons:

Als ik een kleine tip mag meegeven is het meer variatie in het ontbijt. Een keuze tussen 2/3 opties zou fijner zijn. Het ontbijt was verder wel smakelijk en ter plekke bereid!

Pros:

Es un hotel precioso, bien pensado para que nada falte, limpio, con diseño, silencioso. La ubicación es buenísima, cerca del centro para ir caminando pero un poco alejado para evitar el ruido. Es hermoso, muy recomendable.

Only stayed one night, the a/c wasn’t reaching the area where the bed was located and lots of mosquitoes.

Barulho insuportável durante a noite

A Gabi nos recebeu muito bem e deu várias dicas muito úteis da região.

Cons:

Infelizmente nós tivemos uma experiência bem ruim. A propriedade está cheia de pequenas rãs que fazem muito barulho durante a noite toda. Mas MUITO mesmo, é impressionante. O isolamento acústico do bangalô é terrível e nem com protetor auricular conseguimos dormir. Foram 3 noites em claro. Assim que amanhece o bangalô fica totalmente claro.
A escada onde se acessa a cama é perigosa e pouco funcional. Nao tem corrimão e alguns degraus parecem meio soltos.Minha esposa grávida teve muitas dificuldades, especialmente quando ela ficou doente e tivemos que subir e descer essa escada por umas 30 vezes para acessar o banheiro durante a noite. Lamento dar uma nota tão ruim porque as pessoas de lá são legais, mas preciso passar o quão ruim foi se hospedar lá, por um preço bem alto ainda.
