Overall, it was a very nice stay. We've had massages all over the world and we both agree, this was the best massage we've ever had. The property was clean and comfortable, but showed a little in terms of age. Would be nice to have a designated smoking area for those who choose to do so. There was no swimming allowed at the beach due to high surf. Also, the spa was located right next to the road instead of the ocean. As such, motorbikes were regularly heard buzzing by. Had a great week here. Staff were awesome, super friendly and very helpful. Accomadation, pools and grounds are lovely. Sunset beach walks. Only negative is the noisy motorbikes on the beach… nothing to do with Amarta, but impacts the serenity for sure.

Les plats proposés par le restaurants étaient typiques et savoureux.
Les massages proposés par le spa étaient également très agréables et très professionnels.
Nous avons passé un séjour que nous n’oublierons jamais.

A beautiful setting along the south western coast. Small roads lead through a few villages to an isolated setting along the ocean. Villas are sturdy, comfortable, spacious (probably a bit more than necessary) and well equipped. WIFI works but a tad slow. The grounds, pools and public pavilions along the waterfront are quite nice. Landscaping is high quality. The rstaurant (The Lily) is very good and has an excellent small bakery attached. Enjoyed our stay. Will return.

Dommage qu’il soit isolé (1er resto à 25 mn de voiture) et du coup, on a vite fait le tour de la carte du restaurant de l’hôtel.
Mais mis à part ce détail, c’etait magnifique

Best kept secret

I chose this hotel because of its location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with beautiful ocean views, it offers a great opportunity for a retreat. The food offered in the restaurant was delicious, you could choose from several options for breakfast, pastries, fresh juice and fruit were always offered. Food could also be ordered to the room at no extra charge.
The spa was of a good standard, I especially liked the massage with hot stones.
The hotel has its own transport and they offer both tours and transfers to the required destination. My driver was very nice and helpful.
The hotel staff were polite.

Hotel is very nice on the beach. Must have a car or bike to get to anywhere to eat or drink. Hotel has a restaurant but the food is sub standard.

A really relaxing place if you want to be away from the noise/tourist area. Well maintained and nice garden/pool setup. some local activities in the are afternoon like yoga, local dance. Nice beach for long walk and instagram type pictures. The restaurant is probably the one thing to work on, being in the middle of nowhere you are left with little options for food, prices don’t always align with qty/quality, food was just ok.

Die unterkunft sollte mal grünlich gereinigt werden , hauptsächlich die scheiben und fugen im bad .
Wir hatten eine ocean villa mit meerblick und das ist mit schmutzigen scheiben nicht so schön.
Die baustelle zur errichtung von neuen villen ist sicher nötig aber sehr laut den ganzen tag über.
Entspannung fehlanzeige .
Das Frühstück ist zwar lecker und wir haben an den 3 tagen auch alles gegessen aber mehr gibt es auch nicht.
Entweder englisch frühstück oder reis oder nudeln bzw. noch süss ...also pancake .
Da erwarte ich mehr für diese kategorie.

This villa was our favorite. Clean, quiet, very scenic beautiful pictures, and staff was courteous and friendly, especially Ade and Lina. Will recommend to others.

Beautiful resort on the beach. Fantastic location villas outstanding, staff are brilliant nothing is to much trouble. Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a real chill out.

Positives: Beautiful secluded sea front location. New clean spacious room. Great house keeping. Great spa. Good restaurant food. Friendly employees.

Negatives: The restaurant accepts outside tour tourists for lunch everyday during our stay and the pool got really crowded during the day. Though, they were mature adults and well behaved, it was a bit annoying since we picked the hotel for the secludness and quietness.

We loved this place, huge rooms, great price and exceptional quality. You won't be disappointed.

The location best suites couples or famalies that don't want the noise, pollution and stress off city life.

We loved the village location and gorgeous black sand beach.
