At Lamai Resort

Everything was fantastic about this resort. I only wish it had some beach seating options. It was a perfect place to spend a couple beach days.

The bed was of a huge (king) size, but for our standards a bit to hard, stopper could bring more comfort.
Nothing wrong with this stay, most certainly not for the price they are charging.
Its a private place to sleep and shower and store your goods while enjoying the Samui atmosphere.

Wir waren überrascht, denn es gab keine Zimmerreinigung und keine frischen Handtücher. Hatten wir wohl überlesen. Der Strandbungalow war schön, sehr nett auch die Terrasse. Super gelegen am vorderen Strandabschnitt, also weit weg vom Mainbeach. Sehr ruhige Lage. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, wenn auch der Preis bei Null Service etwas günstiger sein könnte. Außerdem hatten wir low Season. Der Strand nicht gut zum Baden, viele Korallenreste, also besser am Strand in Richtung Mainbeach laufen. Für uns (Paar) hat es gepasst, da wir immer mit dem Motorroller mobil sind, da ist man sowieso jeden Tag woanders am Beach. Die Bungalows wirken gepflegt, alles gefliest und sauber und das Wichtigste für uns, man hatte seine Ruhe, kein Frühstücksstress... Gut zum Erholen!

Good hotel at Lamai. Separate rooms is the highlight which are clean.

Owners are really excellent and decent people. They also provide scooter on rent with decent prices. Not much far from happening part of nightlife at Lamai.

I obviously choose it whenever i get a chance to visit Ko Samui.

This is without doubts one of the best deals in Samui. The nice owners are very friendly, room is huge, bed is comfortable, AC.... as advertised, just nicer!
It's away the hustle, so it's quiet. If you get a motorcycle, best beaches of Samui are 5 to 10 minutes away (silver Beach and Chaweng Noi).

The Good and the Bad points in my opinion : Hotel is cheap, rooms are big and well furnished and the Tv has a few English news chanels.
However I found the room smelled of fungus and sometimes the bathroom smelled really bad (sewage smell). Room seemed clean enough but bathroom was not so clean. Definitely not a place where you like to walk around barefoot.
Wifi completely unable to use. As in simple pages would not open/unable to check emails...i would not even try to watch a video.LOL. if you sat outsite the wifi worked a little bit.
Staff was nice enough but you never saw anyone around to ask questions. I would never leave valuables in the room here cause anyone could just walk up to the room since it is a dark,remote area.
All in all it's cheap but I would not say good value for money. You get what you pay for. Other rooms with the same price range are not much better or are worse.
The only good , low budget hotel I saw was "Lamoon Lamai"
Walk to beach is actually very quick...however the walk to Tesco Lotus was way more far than expected because google maps shows a way there which is actually not a real road but someones property. So you have to walk a big loop.
It is ok but I would not stay again.

Great hotel with massive swimming pool and waterslides. Great for kids. Good value. Two minutes walk to the beach and downtownl Lamai and all of the bars and restaurants.

Cadre agréable et calme. S'endormir et de réveiller au bruit des vagues de la mer était sympa. Je recommande cet endroit.

Nothing there not near a beach and not even a pool very disappointed

Good size room, great AC and shower temp. Found one cockroach in the shower. I think it came from the shower drainage. The hotel does not offer transportation but it is not far from the main road. I would stay here again.

The facilities was great and for a great price too. Cheap price for a 4 star level resort. Highly recommended ! Certainly one of the best resort in Koh samui at the lamai province. Got the vip vibe services there.

This is a very clean and comfortable place with good sized rooms and is run by a family who live on site. Located within a walking distance of the main road, Tesco Lotus and Lamai Food Market. The beach and the Lamai shopping centre are not too far to walk to once you have familiarised with the area. You can have use of their kitchen and bbq equipment if you wish. I found their microwave handy for when I bought amazing food at the Lamai food market (please do try)and brought it home. I have found this place to be quite homely and have no problem recommending it.

sind spät abends nach samui gekommen nur zum schlafen für eine Nacht ausreichend mehr Zeit würde ich dann da dort nicht verbringen wollen.

Lovely hotel, helpful & polite staff. Hotel is located a bit of walk from a beach however it is in a quiet location. Im quite happy with my stay at this resort.

We had two nights at At Lamai Resort and it was brilliant!A HUGE room with private bathroom everything was clean and the staff were really accommodating!A 10 min walk into town and you could hire a moped to see the rest of the island.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and were really impressed, especially for the amount of money we paid. Although it is a little out of the way (half an hour taxi from Nathon pier), and difficult to find, the resort itself is well maintained and charming. The rooms are large and clean, with flat screen tvs, a mini fridge, air conditioning, wifi and warm showers. The beds are slightly on the hard side but we didn't mind. Staff was friendly, a translator app came in handy as they don't speak much English. Five minute walk from a main road with bars, restaurants and bakeries. Overall, you get good value for what you pay!

We stayed here for five nights during March in a superior room. It was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Excellent value. Not too far from Main Street and Tesco, about 10 mins and a further 10 minutes to beach. Lovely friendly staff. Once orientate yourself to area, you realise it's not as far out as you first think. Will be staying again.

This hotel is little away from Lamai actions and you may need to have bike to travel in the night. Stayed Dec 22-24 2013 through Agoda for $22. Place turned out to be really nice. Large/spacious rooms and A/C, etc working very well. We even rented bike from them (good price/no hassle). Only trouble was finding this place as many people whom we asked did not know the name of the hotel.

I was stay here for a moment. It's a budget hotel but very nice services. All staff help me to fix many problems and they are so kind to customers. My room is quite basic but still a standard room. A location is not so easy for anyone who easy to lost like me but ok to ask a local people for a direction.
