Hipotels Playa La Barrosa - Adults Only

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were able to park fairly near to the entrance; it might be more of a problem in high season. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and spoke very good English. After that we realized that hardly anyone else spoke English, not too surprising as we didn't come across any other English speaking guests.

We had paid extra for a sea-facing room and we loved sitting on our balcony, looking out to sea. The room was very nice, and so was the bathroom.

There was a good selection at breakfast, but we weren't as keen on the evening meal. I enjoyed the starters, there was plenty of salads, but the choice of meats was very repetitive, and the puddings were mainly smothered in whipped cream. There were a few areas that said Vegan, but I noticed egg and meat in with the selection.

It was a pleasant walk to the beach and the pool was amazing.

This hotel was a perfect relaxing end to our holiday in Spain.

Hotel has a lovely terrace and pool area, although the room is dated and furniture and bathroom are not what you would expect from a quality 4 star hotel.

We could not find one fault with this hotel. Every thing about it was exceptional. Rooms, cleanliness and food were outstanding. But the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with friendly smiles everyday. Would highly recommend.

Wunderschönes Strandhotel mit überaus freundlichen und engagierten Mitarbeitern. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer in der 2. Etage mit Meerblick. Im Zimmer und in allen anderen Bereichen des Hotels alles blitzblank sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr vielfältig und geschmacklich gut. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch das Sportangebot - es gab täglich verschiedene Fitness-Kurse zur Auswahl - ein besonderer Dank geht hier an die Trainerin Johanna! Wir haben uns im Playa la Barrosa überaus wohl gefühlt und die sonnige und warme Woche im November sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Fantastic hotel in everyway ! Bed , service, parking , beside beach , kettle , food , entertainment , pillows, balcony.

Prima locatie met een heerlijk zwembad. Zwembad water wel wat koud. Prima eten. Avondprogramma was wat vroeg afgelopen

Love this part of Spain, travel here every year, and have now had the pleasure of staying in two of the Hipotel hotels in Chiclana. The Gardens last year and the Tui Blue adults only this year. Both have fantastic staff and clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Stayed half board this year, and the food was a very good standard throughout our 18-night stay. It's is more difficult to get to from UK airports, but it is worth flying to Gibraltar and renting a car or as we do ferry and drive down through Spain. You won't be disappointed.

awesome as always. service was great . location is my blue heaven. sums it all up. staff are always helpful and friendly. Town has plenty to do. Check out local events over summer as they have a variety of concerts with very well known international artists

Hotel was nice, but be aware...
1 - They will not go out their way to help you sit outside as a family. Main lady rude & will talk over you.
2 - Parking is a nightmare, they charge you to park underneath.
3 - They charge guests to use their beds on the beach! And some bigger ones by the pool!
4 - You need a car, there is a strip across the road, but for a Spanish experience you need to drive.
Based on these 4 only, we will choose a different hotel next time.

Plus, beaches are great, the hotel is good quality overall, we had an amazing time. but we travelled.

When choosing a hotel for a vacation, I always read reviews from tourists who have already been there. Different people have different opinions, it is impossible to please everyone, but the reviews about Hipotel Playa la Barrosa (Tui Blue Playa la Barrosa) were surprisingly only positive! I admit, at first I found it suspicious. All the guests note the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff and the delicious food. A large number of repeat guests who have been coming here for years.

After 10 days spent in this wonderful place, I join these enthusiastic opinions about Hipotel Playa la Barrosa hotel.

The online check-in option provided by the hotel is very convenient. We used it before the flight. It reduces the check-in time upon arrival. So great that the hotel keeps up with the times!

If you need a quiet, peaceful holiday without wild screams and deafening music during the day, this is the place!

The room is a great size, the furniture is in good condition. The bathroom is spacious with two sinks, a good shower area. The hotel provides liquid soap, hand cream, shampoo and gel. Two things surprised me in the bathroom - an infrared lamp in the ceiling and a toilet that is too high (if you are short, your feet may not reach the floor when you sit on it) 😁

I would like to note the convenient time for breakfasts and dinners. Perhaps the best schedule I have ever had in the hotels. Usually breakfasts end at 10 and here they are until 11! Super convenient!

Sometimes we dined at the restaurant near the pool, but we preferred to do it outside. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance for every taste!

Thanks to the smart policy of the hotel management, we never had problems with sun loungers, even during the high tourist season.

The ocean was surprisingly warm and we enjoyed swimming in it. The hotel is surrounded by juniper bushes and pine trees, you can imagine what wonderful aromatherapy there is! Your lungs will thank you! We slept with an open balcony under the whisper of the waves. Very comfortable mattresses, only good dreams!

Este hotel es una pasada, literalmente

Muy buenas instalaciones, entre ellas la zona del spa y el personal muy amable y agradable.

Como algo negativo, no hay suavizante para el pelo en las habitaciones.

Todo a la perfección, amabilidad y atención en todo momento y el desayuno de primera calidad y variedad de productos. La habitación suficientemente grande y cómoda y las instalaciones súper completas, además as de estar a pie de playa

Han sido unos días maravillosos de relax. Felicito al personal del hotel por su gran amabilidad. Un par de pegas. La bañera es de un acceso complicado para una persona mayor, debo de decir que no se lo comuniqué anteriormente al hotel, y, las zonas comunes interiores, como el bar, aunque tienen climatización, solo se pone determinadas horas.Los días de calor, solo puedes estar en la habitación para refugiarte del mismo, nos dijeron que estaban programadas las horas de A/A y hacia mucho calor y nos tuvimos que marchar del mismo. Quitando estos puntos, y el primero, es solo para que lo sepan puesto que no dije nada, lo demás perfecto. El comedor si está fresquito tanto para desayuno como para cena. Vuelvo a destacar a todo el personal del hotel.
