GDPR breach
Pros:

The room was basic. I didn’t use the other facilities.

Cons:

When I arrived, I didn’t feel safe. When I left, I found my full name handwritten on a wall at the entrance, next to the key boxes, alongside my room allocation and the names of other guests. Anyone entering the building can access this area. As a woman travelling alone, I found this deeply concerning. Publicly linking a guest’s full name to a specific room poses a personal safety risk, especially given recent publicised incidents at other accommodation providers.

I was in room 1; it was very noisy, and the whole place needs soundproofing.

I could hear the trains going past.

I wish I’d read the reviews more thoroughly, as I’m not sure how it has an overall good rating.

Fine for a layover. Check for bedbugs
Pros:

It was easy to get to, and relatively straightforward just to get in/out of

Cons:

After staying at this accommodation, me and my partner travelled back, and we appear to have a lot of bug bites. We had seen the odd few around the room, we are accusing the venue of being unclean, it’s just circumstantial that of all of our group who we met with, and went to the same venues with, we were the only ones to stay in the accommodation and to have the bites.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was clean .The location is convenient for shops and rail stations nearby.

Joe, the staff works extremely hard on his own. Well deserved.

Cons:

My opinion should be another staff member to assist Joe. Some residents don't wash up their utensils. Leaving dirty cutlery in the sink. It should be a fine. The kitchen closes at 22.00. It should be a vending machine for drinks and snacks.

A 2-star at best, I'll never book again
Pros:

I didn't like much about the hotel at all. I wouldn't even call it a hotel, it is more of a self-service hostel.

Cons:

This experience was not great unfortunately and this cannot be classified as a 3-star establishment, perhaps a 2-star only.
- The service in terms of reception was very rudimentary. Reception is not 24 hours.
- The hotel was not clean enough. The shower curtain stank of sweat and the soap dispenser had mould and grime on it. in general, the room was vacuumed, but not clean enough!
- Breakfast was "included", but had to be made by you, the guest! There were very limited options and we had no time to do that. The kitchen would be too busy at times. We had to go out to find our breakfast and pay for it elsewhere.
- My room was next to the front door and there was constant noise of people moving in and out until 01:00. There is not much in terms of noise reduction.
- While the hotel was situated close to where I needed to be, it is not near the centre of London.

I will never book here again. I have laid a complaint with Booking dot com.
