Nice hotel for the price, breakfast ok, front desk helpful, bed comfortable but a little bit noisy at night, shower and water pressure great. Room has a safe. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. Hotel located near nightlife and closed enough to old town.

The hotel is located close to Foch square, which was the meeting point for the tours that we took, so it was easy to walk there in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening, took 10 minutes to get there. Hotel manager Rocio was very helpful and i thought she went out of the way to help us. We arrived at the hotel with no baggage, and were going to be away when the baggage may arrive. Rocio offered to follow up with the airlines and when the baggage was delivered while we were away, it was kept safe till we got back. Also she helped us with taxi arrangements to and from Mindo at a reasonable cost, the taxi driver Gonzalo was very reliable and honest, we also had him take us around Quito and back to the airport for our flight back home.He is a excellent driver- very friendly as well as enthusiastic. Also since our torus began before official breakfast time, we would have to miss breakfast. But manager Rocio had her staff pack to go sandwiches and snacks for us in the morning. We had a great experience with this hotel, would recommend it with no second thoughts. Our room was on the eighth floor and we got great views of the mountains
Staff friendly and efficient, coffee in reception. Room was clean and tidy with free bottled water. Bathroom small but quite sufficient. Overall, a pleasant stay. But, watch out for rogue taxi drivers. We booked a $20 return airport taxi and waited in reception. A taxi drove by and saw us, we went out with our bags and he started to load up. But another taxi arrived and he had our name and booking. It was difficult to get our bags out of the rogue taxi. He claimed he was booked by the hotel. We should have done as recommended, ask for the booking name.
