Pros:

We turned down the first bed only to find a variety of short black curly hairs in the sheets. Kinda gross.
Ok, move to the second bed and we turned it down. A bunch more short curly black hairs and a dead bug in these sheets. Even more gross.

We accidentally left some items in the room. We called back within 24 hours of checkout and were told that all the items we left were thrown in the garbage.

Wifi doesn't work. We had to hot spot our phones to get any computer use.
TV only offers one channel.
Establishment is about 30 feet from HWY400, so anticipate a very noisy night with transport trucks blasting by all night long.

Over priced and under delivered. Rude management when inquiring about our left items.

Pros:

Property very old and dated. There is no cable TV. 2 shoddy TV stations at best. Room in need of repair and more updating. I had left a bag of unopened munchies like tostitos and salsa. Cleaning staff got rid of it because they were not told I was staying 2 nights. They did make good on this by paying me for the items but i'd rather have had them. On booking; said there were 2 rooms left. My first night only 2 other rooms in the complex were in use. Second night; I was the only occupant

Pros:

As a last minute reservation it was okay. If I had a choice, would choose elsewhere. Old, in need of update. As clean as could be considering age.

Clean, Friendly Staff
Pros:

We were both pleased by the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. There was a microwave, a small fridge and a coffee maker and coffee to brew in the room, which we thought was nice, however no sugar pkgs or whitener, which would have made it usable for us.
I had read in the reviews that it was quite dated, and yeah, it kind of is, but as I said, it was clean. We were not put out by the washroom facilities at all. We found it just fine.
The second floor had a nice view of the water. The hwy was loud right beside, but there is nothing the ppl there can do about that, and at least the place is easy to find. Nice dock area.
We were also happy to see a fire pit for guests to use, but there's only one and it was already in use by a large family group. We would have liked it had there been another pit available. Still, it was a comfortable stay, easy to find, clean and had nice staff. If I have need, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Clean, quiet hotel
Pros:

We got off a rocky start when we arrived to find the hotel closed and no one answering the phone, however hotels.com quickly got ahold of someone and we were able to access our room. The advertised bbqs were not available in the winter, and the cable TV was a channel or 2 by antenna, although we were offeted movies to watch. The room was dated but very clean, the microwave, fridge and coffee maker were very handy. The water was slightly yellow but warm for showers. All in all, we got what we paid for and enjoyed our stay.

Pros:

Great location not too far from Toronto, great boating and awesome fishing! Able to dock our boat overnight was very convenient! Cleanliness an issue, dishes were dirty and unwashed and put back in cupboard! Missing plates and glasses, advertised as a full kitchen. Bring your own plates.

Pros:

Place was clean. They were able to accommodate a party of 5 in one room. Good for a stopover. Didnt stay long enough to see what there was to do. No stores or restuarants nearby so you have to have it with you .

Would never stay again!
Pros:

The room smelled. The coffee maker in the room had moldy old coffee packet still in the machine. The coffee cups had dried coffee in the bottom. The face cloth I almost used had dried crusty bits on it. The tv got one channel. The bathroom sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The window almost fell out when I tried to open it. When you arrive you drive up to the back of the "resort" which had garbage strewn about. I think it should be renamed "Musty's Resort" (When my husband read what I wrote he said I was being kind!)

Mosquito Landing
Pros:

Nice looking building from the beach side. Hotel staff (owners) were okay, didn't see them much. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Only complaint really is that they didn't clean our rooms and receiving clean towels and some more toilet paper, had to be addressed. Also: not sure if its a bad year in the Muskoka's for mosquitos, but wowee they were horrendous last weekend. We renamed it Mosquito Landing, lol. Loved the little village of Port Severn, couple good restaurants and the LCBO was real close! ;)
