We loved our stay at the Avondale by the Sea . Everything was perfect. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast wad a nice treat.

Liked Cape May but hated how we were treated by Avondale By the Seas management.

Staff was not accommodating. Due to pending coastal storm and possible flooding and the state of emergency declared by the NJ governor my wife and I decided, for safety sake, that we would leave on Saturday morning, 10/11/2025 to travel back to Pa. After explaining our concerns to management and asked for a refund for our Saturday night reservation. We were flatly denied!! This was just flat out wrong! Good and decent management would have understood our concerns! We’re senior citizens which only compounds our worries.

Can't wait until next year!
Pros:

I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. The location was perfectly in the middle of where we wanted to be plus right across from the beach. The continental Breakfast was satisfying! We stayed 3 nights, which earned us the beach passes.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Avondale by the Sea and looking forward to returning in the future
Pros:

Very clean, great service and friendly staff, nice continental breakfast included, great location. We enjoyed the ocean view from our motel room window and while sitting in the rocking chairs on the balcony in front of our room.

Cons:

Bed could have been more comfortable but that is very subjective
