Great value Bournemouth break, every box ticked.
Pros:

Lots to appreciate at this property. Reception was well staffed so service was immediate, staff were friendly, attentive, patient and genuinely helpful. I chose a slightly unfortunate date to show up, with Bournemouth FC playing at home and so my first night was disturbed by.. well, you can guess. When the pattern threatened to repeat the following night, the shift supervisor, Luisa (apologies to her equally friendly and helpful colleague whose name escapes me), worked hard to find me another room where a peaceful stay was near-guaranteed. Outstanding effort which justified my selection of this property. The public areas are very comfortable for this bracket and the only thing denying the ample breakfast selection a 10 was the deeply disappointing scrambled eggs. Any other variety and it was amazing, everything covered and more - I haven’t seen porridge pots anywhere else and the waffle makers were a nice touch. Constant replenishment was noticeable and even the machine coffee was decent. The drop off area made checking in and out super easy and the choice of secure underground parking (chargeable but back that off against breakfast), or a brisk 5 minute walk to free residential parking made it perfect for those getting out and about. Other clever touches included the self-serve hospitality tray items at reception and the “no housekeeping” incentive. Location couldn’t be more convenient on any level, everything you need is right on your doorstep, without feeling over-busy nearby. And did I say all the staff were excellent..? 😎

Cons:

Please fix the extractor fans. Didn’t work in either room. Could be a little cheaper but probably the particular date.

Excellent apart from no fridge.

Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable seating area. Excellent location to beach, town centre and restaurants.

Cons:

The bed a bit hard, but slept well. The main big minus was no fridge in the bedroom. For some reason, since Covid fridges have pretty much disappeared. How can I make a cup of tea with no water, even though a kettle is there?
Even in my house when we entertain our visitors always have a stocked fridge. What happens if your guests wake up in the night desperately thirsty?

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Very friendly staff at reception and at breakfast.
Nice big room with an unexpected sea view! Nice breakfast. Everything very clean. Daily housekeeping. Great location just a short (albeit quite steep) walk from the Square.

Cons:

Fried eggs at breakfast would have been a nice addition.
A few hooks in the room (not just the wardrobe) and bathroom would be handy.
