our room was spacious and clean and the metro is right in front. many people hanging around the front trying to sell cigarettes though.
The hotel was very convenient for a prolonged weekend. The breakfast is really good, the staff is friendly, and the fact that it is possible to get a drink in the hotel, and don’t have to go to a bar, is a big plus. Not to mention that the metro is located very conveniently at the door step. On the improvement side, the toilets in the basement are quite dirty, there is a bit of strange smell in the hallway, and the area surrounding the hotel is not pleasant. Also, the mattresses are quite hard. But overall, I would stay in the same place next time I visit Paris.
We were happy with the room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location is also excellent, as it was a quick and easy trip to get to the city center.
Unfortunately, our stay was let down by the service. On our first night, the lights in our room were not working properly. We tried to call the reception twice to get help, but no one answered the phone. The next day, we put the "please clean" sign on our door before leaving for the day, but when we returned, our room had not been serviced.
While the lack of attention to these issues was disappointing, we still had a good overall experience. With some improvements to their service, this hotel could be fantastic.

Accommodating
My special compliment to the receptionist for a warm and friendly welcome.
My wife and I were impressed by the welcoming staff. The fellow waited for us till 1 am and suggested a hot pizza for us from the hotel restaurant.
As we had a long journey, it was nice seeing the hotel just when off from the underground train.
Surrounding area felt a little unsafe, we didn’t have any bad experiences, just from another country it was unsettling. Once you’re in the hotel, it’s perfect! They have a bar and a restaurant. Staff was very accommodating as needed. Parking was safe and secure. Would have liked to have had an ev car charger in the secure parking for overnight use. Otherwise great experience!
It was clean and convenient and the service was good. The metro is right outside the hotel which is also convenient but there are always people hanging around outside who seem to be engaged in something less than ethical.
Was odd smell coming from bathroom (sewage) and the sink kept clogging.
I always come back to this hotel when I’m on a business trip in the Paris region. Very friendly and professionnal staff. Will definitly be back next time. 😊
Surrounding areas of this hotel appears not very safe. Cautious is required to stay in this hotel.

Clean hotel with great facilities
The check-in was easy and seamless. Front desk staff are very courteous and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The reason I removed one star, is the bed and pillows are uncomfortable. The mattress seemed to be foam with not much support and the pillows were lumpy. There is no temperature option on the a/c only a dial and at the coldest setting it only trickles in but after running a few hours it was okay but not as cool as I would have liked. The food at the bar was delicious.

The restaurant was advertised as open, but no notice was given that the kitchen was closed. We waited until 7pm, only to be told—after sitting down—that it wasn't operating. Even reception staff were unaware.
There was also a water leak and no staff available to assist—only one overstretched receptionist managing everything.
Not the level of service you'd expect from a Novotel.
