Heel fijn, we voelden ons thuis, er werd voor ons gezorgd
Pros:

Alles was fantastisch: de gastvrije ontvangst, de entourage van een klassiek ingericht hotel, ontbijt was heel fijn en de bedden waren goed. De tuin was ook fijn en onze racefietsen konden we goed stallen in de kelder.

Cons:

ik kan niets bedenken....

We were so impressed by our host and such a wonderfully comfortable small hotel.
Pros:

We enjoyed an amazing breakfast - fresh fruit in abundance, cereals and hot food available on request. I opted for a 'soft boiled egg each morning and the eggs were exactly as requested. Truly wonderful!
Our room was large and full of beautiful artifacts. Never before have we enjoyed such splendor in a style our host described as 'French'.

Het was oke.
Pros:

Ontbijt was simpel, wel vers en een eitje naar keuze. Gastheer zeer vriendelijk en de hond ook. Een oud pand met de daarbij horende karakteristieken. Voor de rest is de tuin fijn om van je ochtend koffie te genieten en gratis parkeren voor de deur is ook wel lekker.

Cons:

Het hotel is gedateerd en kan hier en daar een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Er is geen airconditioning aanwezig; alleen een luchtkoeler met veel decibel :) Tijdens mijn verblijf was het ruim 30 graden, waardoor de kamer erg warm bleef. Daarnaast is er alleen een bad om in te douchen, zonder mogelijkheid om de douchekop op te hangen.

Ook had ik het gevoel dat de bedden aan vervanging toe zijn. Juist een goed bed en een fijne douche en een bar vind ik de belangrijkste onderdelen van een prettig hotelverblijf.

Misschien is het juist ook wel de charme van Hotel Dufays dat niet alles perfect en modern is. Voor sommige gasten zal dat ongetwijfeld bijdragen aan de authentieke sfeer. Persoonlijk hecht ik alleen veel waarde aan een goed bed, een fijne douche en een koele kamer.

Sorry voor deze eerlijke feedback richting de eigenaren, maar dit is precies de informatie die ik zelf graag had willen lezen voordat ik had geboekt.

Uitstekend goed gelegen boutique hotel
Pros:

Het is een goedgelegen hotel dat zeer mooi ingericht is. De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig.
Het ontbijt was uitstekend, Alles was prima in orde!

fantastisch verblijf met de familie
Pros:

zeer mooi hotel met enorm vriendelijk personeel. Goed gelegen en prachtige thema kamers. Ontbijt tot in de puntjes verzorgd en een uitstekende service.

Cons:

het was enorm warm buiten, waardoor het op de kamers ook zeer warm was. Airco is voorlopig niet aanwezig.

Historisches Hotel mit Charme
Pros:

Es hat ein besonderes Flair in einem kleinen Hotel erbaut im 18. Jahrhundert zu übernachten

Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und eingerichtet mit passend alten Möbeln, einem Himmelbett und Deko mit Souvenirs aus Afrika. Schöner Ausblick ins Grüne, mit Balkon

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und ein ganz lieber Haushund

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker - Eier zubereitet auf Wunsch, frisch gebackener Kuchen, Obstsalat

Relativ zentrale Lage. Zur Abtei nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. Hoteleigene Parkplätze gibt es nicht aber einen Parkplatz zu finden war kein Problem.

Cons:

Schade, dass es auf dem Balkon keine Sitzgelegenheit gab.

Prachtig sfeervol hotel
Pros:

Prachtig oud pand. Heel mooi ingericht! Echt een parel. We kregen de Afrika-kamer. Echt heel bijzonder met hemelbed. Zo mooi sfeervol ingericht met heel mooi uitzicht.
Heerlijk ontbijt met een eitje, speciaal naar jouw wensen bereid. Parkeren kan in de straat of stukje verderop. Gratis. We hebben genoten in dit sfeervolle hotel.

Cons:

Niets.
Een enkele aanmerking:
Er is in t hotel maar één kamer met douche. Wij hadden een kamer met heel grote sfeervolle badkamer met een laag bad met douche zonder stang. Het is wel helemaal in de sfeer zo'n prachtig bad maar niet zo handig.

Mooi hotel, vriendelijke gastheer op loopafstand van alles wat Stavelot te bieden heeft.
Pros:

Vriendelijke ontvangst, aardige gastheer, goed ontbijt.
Qua locatie op loopafstand van het centrum van Stavelot.
Wil je de auto parkeren in de straat van het hotel, dan moet je geluk hebben.
Maar op loopafstand is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid.
