Hotel Pretoria potenza

The hotel is located in the historical center of Potenza, a few steps from the famous Via Pretoria and almost all the attractions and churches of the city. The services are efficient, the rooms are clean, simply decorated but comfortable.
The staff is really kind and the prices are competitive.

The owner also has a small pub close to the hotel (100 meters away) which was very good and she offered us free snacks. Amiable staff. The lady who manages the hotel was very helpful. Very meagre breakfast

Miscommunication. Drove around for an hour trying to find parking. There was no one at the reception area. The reception area was small and in ill repair. The key was hanging in a hook. We did not stay as it felt unwelcoming and we couldn’t find the parking garage.

Furnishings in the room were dated, paint peeling in the bathroom. Other ratings showed 10/10, I disagree.

Comfortable, smaller rooms, but a cozy stay. The hosts and staff were very nice and helpful. Great location for market, restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We were there in extreme heat and they were very helpful with adjusting and helping use the air conditioning.

Hidden gem. Extremely good value - very helpful staff. central location in wonderfully vibrant traditional town. Room was spacious with balconies and good air con/heating. Although the town was busy on a Saturday night the soundproofing and shutters meant we could choose to keep the buzz out. Very comfortable stay and excellent breakfast included. Our hosts even helped with secure parking at discounted rate. All in all, great value.

I had a huge room, lots of wardrobe space, a valet stand and an en suite. I can't fault the room and nor the staff: they make you feel welcome, help with everything and the breakfast provided was first class. The internet was also great, something that can't be said about all hotels in this part of Italy.

The folks at the hotel were outstanding, very accommodating and customer service oriented.
The location was a bit difficult to find, although with some help from locals we arrived.
Parking is difficult, the staff took the car and parked it for us, eliminating this concern.
A faint smell of cigarette smoke lingers - seems like most people in Italy still smoke.

Very central in one of the main roads in historic part of Potenza with a tiny reception. But the room itself was huge and had a couch as well. Well interiored, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Would go there again.

The owners are very nice young people. Room large enought with heather (which is necessary at winter time). Hotel is fashionable with profesional service :), located at the city center with perfect restaurants and possibility for shopping..I can only recommend :)

Enjoyed our stay. Managers were very helpful and always close at hand and spoke excellent english. The hotel is in the old part of town. Breakfast was expanded typical Italian. Management recommended several great restaurants. Would stay again.

A tiny reception on a very narrow street in this old town centre belies the spaciousness of the rooms and the overall attention to detail here. Owner/managers have very good English, which is handy when your Italian is shamingly bad!
My room - and I think most rooms- had a usable balcony, which is pleasant, and a balcony door/window which can be tilted for ventilation while the door is closed. There is the usual roll down shutter. There is air con so you don't have to keep the window open, which is just as well as the pedestrian area outside can get very noisy. However, this is Italy and you don't come here expecting quiet!
The position of the hotel is excellent, in the historical centre, with access to bars, restaurants and shop . The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar, but in this case it really wasn't a problem. Breakfast is served in a delightful little breakfast room and has the sort of choice you expect in an Italian hotel. I stayed here for two periods of three days, with a three day trip to a nearby town in the middle. They kindly kept my main luggage until my return.
My room was spacious, well furnished and very clea .
This hotel was booked for me by my company, so I had no choice in the matter, but I would happily go there again.

quiet and nice hotel. Located in the city center, closely to the public lift for parking access, parking fee payed by the hotel.Bed room quiet, clean, enough large, warm.
There are not the hall or common spaces.
the Breakfast is italian style and planty of stuff, good espresso.
The personnel is welcoming.

There are many things to like about this hotel: our room was very spacious, with both a large and comfortable bed and a nice desk and a couple of chairs, as well as a large bathroom (just shower though, no bath); the staff is very cheerful and friendly; our room had a nice little balcony; the free wi-fi is pretty good; the location is excellent, just at the end of the main street of the old town center, and a couple of minutes away from one of the escalators down into the 'modern' town. The price was reasonable, too. Breakfast was not hugely exciting but perfectly acceptable. There are lots of nice bars and a couple of nice places to eat nearby. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.
