Without a doubt our best stay on our 2 month holiday in USA - highly recommend
Pros:

What a beautiful historical place to stay, that has been so meticulously restored to make a very comfortable cosy hotel room, with a comfortable bed.

Cons:

Nothing - this place is the best!

In the beautiful historic Stockade District, it is close to all important sites. The building is very charming and the room clean and comfortable with a gigantic comfy bed.

Pros:

Love the unique history of this property. Our room was very spacious, clean, bright, and comfortable. Also appreciated being able to securely store our bikes inside the building. Very walkable to restaurants, a breakfast cafe, and the historical district. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

A much more interesting place to stay for low-maintenance adults than a big-box hotel.

Nice, historical stay!
Pros:

Historical property with a great back story. The location was close to eateries and history. The help with the luggage in was nice as there were stairs. Recents renovated and the owners/managers were super nice! Parking wasn’t an issue!

Cons:

Some of the area is a bit dicey. I felt safe in daylight hours.

History and Luxury in Stockade Neighborhood
Pros:

Amazing location. The building is so grand and impressive. I could walk to Stockade and amazing coffeeshop nearby. The yoga studio is outstanding (thank you for the class). Yes, yes! I enjoyed a little bite downstairs for breakie (this would have been nice to be included?). The amenities were lovely: cosy bath towels and a beautiful bathroom.

Cons:

The hotel is very open to the other businesses in the building. This felt a little unsafe. The light in my bedroom from the outside was too bright. And it was cold. The cost is quite high for the experience. However, I feel good supporting the efforts to restore this building.
