J'ai apprécié l'emplacement, le design et l'aménagement intérieur de l'hôtel ; pour le reste, je ne sais pas trop quoi dire : lorsqu'on parle d'un espace spa, il ne s'agit pas simplement d'une douche froide, d'un sauna et d'une table de massage. Je ne regrette pas mon choix, mais je m'attendais à ce que l'expérience spa, du moins, soit synonyme de détente absolue...

Cons:

Tout d'abord, bien que j'apprécie le travail et les efforts du personnel, certains employés devraient apprendre à s'exprimer plus clairement et plus poliment, avec le sourire. Lors du premier petit-déjeuner, j'ai commandé deux omelettes mais on ne m'en a apporté qu'une seule ; lorsque j'ai signalé qu'il m'en fallait deux, l'employé m'a regardé et m'a parlé comme si je n'avais rien demandé du tout — même si, finalement, j'ai trouvé sur place un jeune homme serviable avec qui le courant est bien passé tout au long de mon séjour. Concernant la propreté — et plus particulièrement celle de la salle de bains —, j'estime qu'au vu du classement 5 étoiles et du prix, le directeur de l'hôtel devrait effectuer des inspections. Il en va de même pour la piscine du spa : le deuxième soir, on pouvait voir des saletés et des cheveux d'autres personnes dans l'eau.

Ein Hotel, in das man gerne zurückkehrt

Mein Mann und ich haben zwei Nächte im Grand Hotel Campione verbracht und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir erhielten ein Upgrade auf ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit herrlichem Seeblick, was unser Wochenende natürlich besonders schön gemacht hat.

Das Frühstück war sensationell: eine grosse Auswahl, hochwertige Produkte und ein rundum gelungener Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir jedoch die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Alle waren jederzeit sehr höflich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt Andrea von der Rezeption, der sich äusserst aufmerksam um uns gekümmert hat und mit seiner herzlichen Art wesentlich dazu beigetragen hat, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben.

Den Spa-Bereich haben wir leider nicht besucht, er soll jedoch klein, aber fein sein. Sehr praktisch ist zudem die Partnerschaft des Hotels mit dem Lido in Campione, das von den Hotelgästen ebenfalls genutzt werden kann.

Pros:

The hotel staff were excellent, attentive and super nice. Their attention to detail and remembering each guest was fantastic.

Cons:

Firstly, this hotel is not in Lake Como, guests should be very clear that this is a Lake Lugano property and it takes 45-60 minutes to get to most spots around Lake Como.
Secondly, this is a dog friendly hotel which was very surprising to us. We had dogs barking in the room next to us up until midnight on some nights and then again from 7am. It made getting proper rest very difficult.

Our stay at Grand Hotel Campione was exceptional in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The hotel generously upgraded us to a magnificent full suite, which made our stay even more special and unforgettable. The suite was spacious, elegant, immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail reflected the standards of a true five-star hotel. Parking is free of charge and valet parking is available.

A very special thank you to Andre at reception. He welcomed us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel valued. He was clear, honest, highly professional, and genuinely caring. He explained everything perfectly and made the entire arrival experience smooth and enjoyable. Andre is truly an outstanding representative of the hotel.

We are equally grateful to Laila, who assisted us in the suite. She was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. She showed us around, explained every detail carefully, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and thoughtful service made us feel completely at home.

Everything about this hotel was flawless: the beautiful property, the luxurious suite, the cleanliness, the comfort, the atmosphere, and above all, the wonderful staff. This was much more than just a hotel stay; it was one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Grand Hotel Campione exceeded every expectation, and we would return without hesitation.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. We genuinely could not find a single fault. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.
