Owners are great! This place works for our purposes.
Pros:

I like the location. The town of Vega is super tiny, but I like that Vega is West of Amarillo. When I'm heading to California from Arkansas, it just helps to get a little closer to my destination.
I really like the owners, Gabriel and Diane. They work very hard to make this place the best it can be. And they are making improvements all the time. It's not a Best Western or anything, but the owners are great, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable enough and I feel safe there. And Diane makes homemade muffins for in the morning. If you can't stay for breakfast, you can get it to go.

Cons:

It does need more curb appeal, but the owners are working on that. They purchased the property not too long ago and have been trying to get it in good shape.

Pros:

La struttura si trova sulla route 66, in un tratto non troppo popolare. Le camere sono abbastanza pulite e c’è tutto il necessario per passare una notte. La colazione, sebbene non presenti tavoli, ha dei buoni muffin prodotti in casa ed un’ottima selezione di bevande calde che è un plus, vista la media della zona.

Cons:

La struttura è abbastanza datata ed avrebbe bisogno di ammodernamenti.
L’aria condizionata, nella nostra camera, non funzionava bene.

Good place to stay, one night. Once finished with the rooms it would be a very good place to stay
Pros:

Easy to get to. One story and beds were comfortable Room was clean Breakfast was great with homemade muffins and fruits

Cons:

In the process of remodeling and the tub was stained.

A very reasonably priced motel with lots of charm in a easily accessible location
Pros:

Can’t beat the value. The operators of the motel were fantastic. Location was good- very easy off/on from the highway. Beds were very comfortable, and although there was no breakfast per se’ the operators give out to go bags with wonderful homemade muffins.

Cons:

Can’t really say anything bad. It’s an older motel and frankly it shows. It was probably a rockin little place in its heyday, but now the pool is filled in with dirt and most of the grass was rough. None of this is a reflection on the operators, as it appears they have been there a short time so far and that pool has been filled in for quite some time

Pros:

Nice place and very nice owners, close to the hwy, so convenient but no noise. Also provided muffins, coffee and fruit in the morning. Would go back if I travel that way again.

I will definitely stay here again if I am traveling through the area!
Pros:

This property is fantastic! The single-level layout is incredibly convenient, and the large parking area provides plenty of space to park a trailer easily. The friendly staff made me feel welcome right away, and the room is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

Pros:

The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and made us feel so welcomed! We arrived late at night, and I was worried that they would not be happy to check us in so late, but he was friendly and talked with me about local attractions, etc. It was a quiet stay in comfortable beds, which is exactly what we needed for our rest break on our travels.
