We will stay again ONLY on 2nd floor and NOT off the pool
Pros:

Pricing and the included breakfast was amazing

Cons:

Stairs to second floor and second floor hallways were very dirty

First room we were given on first floor was off the swimming pool and the mustiness and extreme chlorine smell drove us to change our room

Great weekend away
Pros:

The location was great, the reception service was really good, really pleasant and helpful.
The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable and plenty warm enough. The breakfast menu was great. Service in the restaurant over the weekend was good. Overall, I would stay at the Heritage Inn again if in the area.

Cons:

Reading the posted notice, housekeeping only attends rooms on the third day.
We requested two more towels that never arrived.

The toilet systern lid rattled when you sat on the toilet.

There were a couple of black hairs on the pillows, and neither I nor my wife have black hair.

Overall stay was quite good.
Pros:

Breakfasts were great.

Cons:

Outside a little junky looking/in need of some upkeep. Also garbage on ground by entrance doors for several days.
Bathtub fixtures need replaced badly. Hot & cold on the sink tap were opposite to the norm.

We found this hotel disappointing due to a bad smell, dirty pool and uncomfortable beds.
Pros:

I wanted to like this hotel. It has a nice front entrance, with the carriage of a hot air ballon inside the front door and an inviting appearance. But the staff seemed disinterested and the hallways looked dirty.

I travelled with my family and we all noticed a musty odour when entering our pool facing room. I assume there is an unresolved moisture issue. There was also nowhere to charge our phones.

Lastly, the pool, though pleasant in appearance, was very dirty with clumps of hair and bits of detritus floating around.

It’s centrally located and the breakfast is decent but the other issues we encountered really ruined the experience for our family.

My go to hotel when in High River. Has what I need, except an elevator.
Pros:

Good location. Lovely Staff

Cons:

Just wish I could have got a ground floor since there is no elevator. Luggage and stairs suck.

It was underwhelming to say the least especially with the cost of the room for one night.
Pros:

The breakfast included with the room was very good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes.

Cons:

There is no elevator at this hotel and that is not advertised nor does it state that on the hotel amenities on their website. It is not an accessible hotel. Any guest with mobility issues would find this place does not meet accessibility minimum requirements. The front doors do not have the accessible push pads to open the doors. The stairs and hallways and the room draperies are grungy and need updating. And it is advertised that coffee and tea is in the room. It was not. The cost was high for this hotel. I’ve stayed in much better for much less. I only stayed here because Okotoks was full. The website pictures of the rooms are very misleading. Bathroom amenities were a bare minimum.

When I arrived to check in around midnight, the hotel refused to honour my reservation because their payment terminal wasn’t working properly. Even though the issue was on their side, they didn’t offer any solution or alternative accommodation. As a result, I was left searching for another hotel in the middle of the night. Thankfully, the staff at the Super 8 across the street were very helpful, and their payment system worked without any issues.
