Pros:

Room was clean. The bathroom was small but nice.

Cons:

We didn't feel it was up to the three star rating. There was a lamp only on one side of the bed. No mirror outside the bathroom. The room had an "old" smell. The breakfast was fine but very limited options. This was the third 3-star hotel we stayed at during this trip. And it didn't come close to as nice as the other two.

Great value
Pros:

Proximity to Castle Mountain, excellent breakfast, comfy beds, swimming pool, hot tub, friendly staff.

Cons:

Sound proofing isn’t great but once the heater was on, the white noise helped. Hot tub could be a bit hotter. It’s not supposed to be a boujee hotel, so expect some minor dings on walls and a little roughness.

staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast used to be a buffet. Now it's a choice of 1 out of 3 prepared meals. Breakfast is also not always included in the room price!
Rooms could need an update. Elecyric room heater/fan is noisy.

Basic accommodation. Watch your charges.

It was 1/2 hr from ski hill

Cons:

Check in was messed up - charged double for two rooms than quoted. Mistake was rectified once I pointed it out. Loud guests after midnight in the halls and slamming doors. Then woken up at 5:30am by someone throwing up in the next room. Put on loud bathroom fan to drown out the noise and sleep for another hour

Would recommend this location for future stays.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable, location and amenities. Staff were accommodating when we had trouble with the TV. Did not have time to use the pool area but it looked nice.

Cons:

Heating unit was a little noisy, other than that there were no issues.

Quiet Location
Pros:

Average room, average cleanliness (surface level).

I didn't like that there wasn't a swing lock on the door.

When I checked in I asked about the breakfast (included in the rate I paid on Hotels.com) and I was given a menu for the restaurant on site.

When I got to breakfast in the morning, I was informed I could only order 1 of 3 items.

Pool/Hot tub area was nice, I liked that I could control the music.

Cons:

Older and room heater/ac unit ran off and on every 2 minutes all night. Could have been more clear about the breakfast situation. Assumed that it came with the room, only to find out it was a “room only” reservation. Found that odd.

Great accommodation & super close to hocky and curling arenas!
Pros:

It was awesome to have a room available with 3 queen beds!! This is pretty rare to find and made the trip really affordable for us b/c often we have to get 2 rooms bc we are travelling w 3 girls. The pool & hot tub was super awesome; breakfast that was included was really good - total surprise for us b/c we didn't realize it was included!

Cons:

The bathroom/shower situation was strange but ok - would be really nice to have a sink in the same room as the toilet. The lighting in the room as a whole was only ok compared to other similar hotels. The main thing i noticed was lack of recycling - maybe time to modernize those options!

Very worn and tired building, but staff were great.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room had a wall unit for heat and ac, but no thermostat on it. It got too hot if left on and too cold after shutting it off. Felt like camping. Very uncomfortable. Also frayed towel in bathroom, no boxes of Kleenex anywhere, very small old coffee machine, and the lowest possible quality of toilet tissue.
