Perfect NYC Stay: Location, Style & Standout Service
Pros:

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Standard, High Line to celebrate her birthday and had such an incredible experience. The location truly can’t be beat—right by the High Line with easy access to so many great neighborhoods, restaurants, and galleries.

We absolutely loved the vibe of the hotel. The art and modern, eclectic decor made it feel unique and inspiring without being overdone. It struck the perfect balance of stylish and comfortable.

A special shoutout to Ian at The Standard Grill, who went above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday dinner unforgettable. He took such thoughtful care of us and created a dining experience that honestly became a core memory from our trip.

Highly recommend for a fun, design-forward stay in NYC with standout service to match.

Great location if you’re stating in the Meatpacking District. Great gyms and friendly staff.

Charged Extra
Pros:

Location was good, every place I went was within good reach, and the taxis were readily available

Cons:

They charged me approx 20% extra to my booking amount. Though all of the booking was done online and paid already, they blocked the full amount and extra during the time of checkin and after when I checkout after 3 days, they deducted explainable amounts costing 300$ extra to my original booking amount(I booked for 3 days)

Great service and a thoughtful birthday surprise!
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at The Standard in Manhattan. The overall service was excellent—everyone was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of.

I’d especially like to highlight Melissa, who made our stay memorable. I had asked if the amenity could be arranged for my friend’s birthday, and she did it perfectly. The setup was thoughtful and beautifully done, and it truly made the celebration feel special.

Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience—I would definitely stay here again!

Mod Squad: 1970's Chic, Prime Location, Spectacular views, and Amazing Service
Pros:

Standard fare? Hardly. The Standard (High Line) is just in a perfect location to take advantage of the West Village, Meatpacking District, Soho, etc. Close to top restaurants, shopping, museums, and parks/trails. Definitely a bit eclectic in style, decor, and vibe -- but traditional in it's high level of service and friendliness. No long waits for check-in or for room service. Kind faces and helpful staff throughout our stay -- from the front desk to room service to housekeeping to the biergarten. Everyone. Room sizes are more generous than other area hotels, elevators are quick, and the views from the rooms are spectacular.

The room was clean, spacious, tons of towels, nice mini-bar, comfortable bed/linens, and a generously sized TV. In the room, you can't hear much of anything outside the room -- whether from the hallway, other rooms, or the street. Vanity in the bathroom was a little dark to say the least, but the water pressure was heavenly in the shower.

Just loved being in the middle of everything (yet did not feel crowded) and appreciated that all of the staff seemed to truly like people in general and love working at this property.

Best Brunch Experience Thanks to Eli!
Pros:

Eli made our brunch at The Standard absolutely exceptional. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with such a warm, upbeat energy that instantly set the tone for a perfect start to our day.

The service, ambiance, and food were all fantastic, but Eli is what truly made it exceptional. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your host, you’re in for a top-tier experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be hoping to see Eli again!

Good stay, friendly staff but probably wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast included. Great location. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

Check in (at the required 3pm) took almost an hour as rooms were not ready. Peloton bikes in the gym aren’t connected to a commercial account so you can’t access your preferred rides etc.

My new go to hotel
Pros:

I did not want to leave. The room was comfortable and the staff went above and beyond. Romel from the hotel even got me a credit so I could try the Standard Grill. Upon checkout, Melissa was very helpful and made a stressful day easy. Will be using this hotel from now on.
