having initially booked this hotel in error (Daimant Spas everywhere!) we have had 2 great trips.
Pros:

lovely hotel in a great location for skiing. The spa facilities are amazing. This was our second visit. The food choice and quality was excellent. Ortesei is a 15 minute walk and is the nicest town in the Dolomites.

Cons:

the bar area organist, for my tastes was too loud.
the non spa facilities could do with some attention for example the games room could have better ventilation and the gym more loose weights. But I am being picky.

Cons:

ragazza alla reception (poi risultata essere la proprietaria dell’hotel) si è dimostrata estremamente poco professionale.
Al mattino abbiamo chiesto di prenotare un ristorante, ma ci è stato risposto in modo secco che non c’erano posti disponibili. Ho proposto diverse alternative — attendere un orario diverso, mangiare più tardi o prima, oppure ordinare la cena in camera — ma tutte le proposte sono state accolte con risate e liquidate come “impossibili”.
Quando ho espresso il mio disappunto e ho chiesto almeno una soluzione concreta, ha reagito nuovamente ridendo e ha dichiarato che non avrebbe nemmeno provato a contattare altri ristoranti per nostro conto, sostenendo di sapere già che era tutto al completo. Un atteggiamento inaccettabile per chi lavora nell’ospitalità.
Vorrei inoltre segnalare lo stato dei materassi dell’hotel: sono talmente vecchi e usurati da formare una profonda avvallatura, rendendo il riposo estremamente scomodo.

The problem with this hotel is because it is out of the main town and away from the ski lifts they have a mini bus shuttle service to bring you to the main town and to the main cable car to start your day skiing. like all ski hotels this is in with your price of your stay. Also to collect you at the end of the day from the area where the cable car is but they only will collect you at the latest at 5.00pm which is an absolute joke! many people are still skiing down to the town at 5.00pm or having a drink or a coffee to take some time to wind down and it is not enough time to collect guests that want a full days skiing.
The resort is extremely busy and very very hard to get taxies so on three occasions i was left stranded after a hard days skiing in the town. on the three occasions it took hours to find a taxi to get me back to the hotel very late wich ruined my evening.
I was absolutely furious that they simply do not take care of there guests leaving them stranded for the evening and not collecting after five. 6.00 or 7.00 pm would be far more realistic as i have skied for 40 years and never experienced a hotel that does not take care of there guests in transfers to and from the resort.

So i am very unhappy at this hotel as there response when i complained was not very good either just shrugging their shoulders so i would never book this place again.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt bei Verena und ihrem Team. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und hochwertig und der frisch gepresste Saft einfach toll. Das Abendessen war wirklich sehr gut – eine gelungene Mischung aus Geschmack, Zubereitung und Präsentation. Die Atmosphäre war freundlich und angenehm. Würde ich definitiv weiterempfehlen.

The hotel bar and restaurant, also the spa area were great, great view and quiet surrounding area. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The room was a bit outdated, needs refurbishing, but all in all comfy. There is a 25eu/day tax for pets, wich is a bit much, in my opinion. There is a new annex of the hotel, that probably has new rooms. At breakfast we didn`t had a table assigned, and in the second day we sat down at the table we had eaten the day before, and we were politely asked to go to another room, because that was not our table (but we didn`t had a table assigned).

Good breakfast.
Amazing spa facilities. So many different saunas and places for relaxation. We loved the outdoor pool. Staff are really friendly and accommodating
