POSITIVES:
Ambience: cleanliness was remarkable; pleasantly quiet and restful
Menu: impressive in spread, taste, variety and presentation. Best part: adding healthy fruits and veggies
Could add bottled water.
4th floor deck: the view was absolutely impressive, relaxing and welcoming
Room for improvement, drop chocolate wine; include affordable sauvignons, chardonnays, pinot, reds like Apothic, for wine connoisseurs, or less pricey French and Italian whites and reds
Menu; Seafood combo was phenomenal!; Goat meat was too tough and tomato excessive,
OWNER/MANAGER: Exceptional+++. Good public and guest relations. Honored Booking.com rate. Daily presence.in breakfast room, calm supervision, professional yet relaxed demeanor.
Room for improvement: less spicy pepper, less oil especially in the scrambled eggs,, moyin moyin more moist,
Adding sweetener (preferably plant-based) for guests on low or no sugar diet. bottled water (soft plastic)
The location is excellent. Directly across from Eko hotel and next door to Bamboa and The library
Inadequate supplies in the hotel room. Coffee was freeze dried Maxwell house, the front desk was inflexible and it was challenging sometimes to get service. Forget service with a smile. Further more, room was for 2 adults but breakfast, though listed as included was for one person, coffee purchased separately was Maxwell from a container and you had to pay extra. Coffee machine was either broken or they didn’t use it. Plus the pool was not usable. The room was smaller than it appears in the pictures and the WiFi was spotty and unstable. Book as a last resort hotel for 1 night. Anything beyond, expect headaches.
The fact that they have a restaurant
The room was quite dated. The coffee table and furniture were very dated and need replacing. The throw on the bed had stains on. The bedsheet also had stains. There was no bath mat initially. The cleanliness was not of good standard. The staff were helpful
Maison Fahrenheit delivered an excellent stay from start to finish. The staff deserve particular recognition for how well they handled a difficult situation when the international card reader temporarily stopped working. With no other payment option available at the time, they still allowed me to check in, including an early check-in about three hours ahead of schedule, and access my room until the system was working again. That level of trust and professionalism was genuinely above and beyond, and it immediately set a very positive tone for my stay.
The food was outstanding throughout, with the Sticky Pineapple Chicken being an absolute highlight and genuinely hard to forget. Service across the hotel was consistently warm and attentive.
My suite, complete with a balcony, was spacious and comfortable, with a very cosy bed and a generous lounge area that made it easy to relax. I also enjoyed spending time by the pool watching football, and the poolside bar service was excellent, friendly, quick, and accommodating. A small tip for future guests, bring insect repellent if you plan to sit outside in the evening.
Overall, a memorable stay with fantastic hospitality, great food, and a strong sense that the staff truly care about their guests. I would happily return.
I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel.
The breakfast buffet was tasteful with large sections
The breakfast was nice.
The location was nice,

I didn't like the room.
The toilet was leaking, and the room was a bit stale llooking.
The charges differed from what was expected
They could not cash my card
The staff were disingenuous when confronted with the issues
Location was great. Manager was onsite
The location was great.
The booking said I could pay at the property, however whilst I was at my layover in Kigali on the way to Lagos I started receiving notifications of my card being charged, but because it was an unauthorised payment it led to my card being blocked and I had to message the hotel directly to understand why I was being charged. When I got to the property I was asked how many days I wanted to pay for which should’ve been a sign to not pay for my entire stay. The booking also said breakfast was included and my booking was for 2 people however only ONE person could have the ‘free’ breakfast and the second person had to pay N15k … weird?? They were also very weird about towels, again my booking was for 2 people however when they would clean the room they would take the towels and either only replace with 1 towel or just not replace the towels at all. On one particular day I asked for a towel 4 separate times and was told they would bring them, however up until the following day no towel was brought to us, not sure if there’s a towel shortage at the hotel but it was ridiculous. I also misplaced a bank card and when I went to reception to ask if it had been handed in I was met with so much attitude and the man just said no, I wasn’t asked what the card looked like or any details at all, just straight no. The only saving grace was the man in the restaurant I think he may have been a manager, he is the only one that actually helped me look for the card and even followed up with me the next day to see if I had found it. I didn’t get his name but his service was 10/10. All in all I was very disappointed with my stay. My other friends at the hotel had similar experiences, it was not good and I hope they learn from this.
The location
Firstly, unbeknownst to me the hotel tried to charge my card. Due ti the security of my card and the fact that this charge wasn’t permitted, my card got blocked. I was given a room that looked nothing like the pictures and smelled like mildew. The first two days we had no hot water. During my stay I complained about the smell everyday but there was no follow up. The day I had arrived I had informed the staff that I was staying for less days. I informed reception about this and what day I’d leave. I also paid for the days I stayed. On the day I was leaving the receptionist called me to say that a payment was missing and their colleague made a mistake. The receptionist then tried to tell me that she wasn’t aware of my departure, but somehow on the phone she confirmed my check out. I have traveled a lot and been in many hotels and I’ve never had such a terrible experience before. Some staff members, like the gate men, were very pleasant. However the staff working inside the hotel can use a customer service training course. Please heed my warning and patronise other hotels in the area. As the best thing about this hotel was its location.
The receiptionnist that booked my room was very polite and hrlpful snd the room.
Thr bathroom was too small and there was water dripping on the floor
Jusr okay for a night
