I will never stay here again.
Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to the ocean.

Cons:

We walked into our room and it smelled highly of cigarette smoke. The shower water pressure was barely a sprinkle and the shower grout was falling out. Not sure what they use for their bedding but my entire chest and neck broke out into a rash after the first night and we didn’t even get to go to the beach yet. We went to the pool and there was throw up floating in the water and someone told the person at the pool side bar and they did nothing about it.

Would stay here again!
Pros:

I realled loved the location. I liked the proximity to the beach. I really loved the coffee in the room and the large space of the room. My kids enjoyed the tv and the bathroom was great. There was a man at the front desk who was super friendly! Loved the free coffee in the lobby!

Cons:

There was one woman at the front desk that was in a bad mood the entire time we were there and that was not the best way to welcome people. I thought that it was weird that our room was not cleaned one time in four days that we stayed there.

Pros:

The staff was very accommodating and extremely helpful. Everything was nice and clean.

Cons:

I would suggest putting more showers at the beach access to clean off your stuff or possibly a water hose with good water pressure.

We loved everything about The Islander Hotel!
Pros:

The proximity to the ocean and the cleanliness of the hotel is unmatched on the island! We loved every minute!!!

Pros:

comfortable beds, close to beach, next door to park, easy access to restaurants/ABC & grocery stores

Cons:

Poor, spotty WiFi, AC unit loud noise level, dehumidifier collected water daily which needed to be poured out and staff NEVER performed this service (even needed to do this on first evening of our stay), dehumidifier needed to be cleaned (unpleasant odor)

It was great! We love staying here. The location is perfect and the pricing is fair.
Pros:

The rooms are clean and comfortable. They give you plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Front desk staff are nice and gave us a list of restaurants around the area and their hours. The best part is you have direct access to the beach. There are also plenty of places to shop and get food within minutes of the hotel.

Cons:

The bathrooms don't have fans. The lighting in the room is also not the best, especially in the kitchen area.

Pros:

Great location, it’s right on the beach, friendly staff, nice pool area, good rooms and good amenities! Wonderful place to stay that’s budget friendly for beach front. Bar at the pool is a great addition and the bartender is great!

Cons:

Floors could use some more deep cleaning in between guest.
