To be fair on this property owner they did organise another hotel in the same area when they had maintenance issues and did walk me to the new hotel. But they probably felt they had to because it is an unsafe area with a lot of drugged people on the streets. But there is also a Police station on the block, which have some assurance.
terrible
The room was dirty, cigarette burns in the blanket, it was loud all night. Though they say no pets there were several dogs barking loudly and even a cat that was meowing/screaming in the hallways. It was cold and there was no heating in the room at all.
No air conditioner.
No ekevator.
No cleaning room
Manager was understanding of adding extra nights and having extra guest to the booking. No deposit was required And check out was simple
Horrible experience at this Hotel. Worst ever had in my life. Room was dirty! Toilette was pooped and shower was dirty. the sheets were full of long black hair. Bed was unmade, they just threw the comforter on top of ditry sheets. The sheets were full of long black hair. No TV control remote so I couldn't watch. I asked the manager three times and nothing.
The area around this property very bad full of homeless and drug addicts. Very noisy and scary.
If you want to experience how to literally live in a dumpster, go to this place. This place is very filthy, everything is dirty. Bathrroms with dirty floors and have no toilet paper, the rooms, the bed with unchanged pillow case, and the smelly hallways. It’s more sanitary and safer to sleep in the street alley than in this “hotel”.
The room was dirty upon check in so we went to Walgreens and bought Lysol and sanitizer wipes just so we could feel somewhat clean before we went to bed. Marks on the pillows and sheet wasn’t clean so we slept on top of our own blanket.
This property is a health hazard. It smelled like human feces and there was used toilet paper in the hallways.
I asked for a refund and am not sure whether it happened as I could not stay there. Do not book this place.
Not a kid environment, disgusting smelt

You get what you pay for. You definitely get to experience what it’s like to live amongst the homeless of San Francisco. Forget about sleeping, with either homeless people partying all night long, or the staff in the hotel blasting music at all hrs of the night. There is no such thing as day and night on this street. You will hear the buzzer of the front door at all times, as there is no key or card to get in and out of the hotel. No towels given, shower moldy and dirty. Need shoes to step in. And just when you think your crappy windows are open because of the noise level… nope they are closed but offer no sound proofing. You will have at least 4 blocks of urine and feces to walk through . I ignored the reviews, I suggest you don’t.
It was good when I go back again absolutely
I was OK with the property and the noise from outside but I had a room right next to the office and every time somebody came in they would talk to the manager and they would run up and down the stairs. I was trying to sleep because I had to work early in the morning that’s why I had gotten a room and unfortunately I did not go to sleep until 1 AM due to all that traffic passing by my bedroom door.
The room was clean and good but the shared bathroom was dirty. The hotel reciption were nice.
Hotel Adrien is a haven from chaos in a gritty part of San Francisco. Its cheap rooms -- perched above a liquor store, across the street from another liquor store -- provide a diverse clientele with basic shelter for the night.
For my purposes, the location was very convenient. Sutter Hospital and Clinic are about 10 minutes away walk, the Asian open-air market is an easy five minutes. Good and excellent restaurants are everywhere.
My sister picked me up at the SF airport around midnight and when we got there, we were apprehensive because homeless people live on the nesrby sidewalks. I had to call several different numbers before my call was answered by a south-Asian man who described where the entrance was located and promptly buzzed me in.
My room was next to the corner office, had a combination lock, a garish cealing light, a comfortable single bed with clean sheets, desk, chair, night stand, a small closet, and a sink. Two cracked and dirty windows had dark curtains that effectively blocked out the street lighting. The TV offered a few clear channels with good movies and other programs. Toilet and shower facilities were just down the hallway. Two towels were provided at check-in.
This room was loud. Guests and potential customers streamed in and out all hours of the day and night. I could write a pretty good book based on the overheard conversations outside my doorway and in the intersecting streets below. I slept well through most of it.
Didn’t expect our stay to be this disappointing with dirty ass shared bathrooms and nobody cleans them the while time we were there.
Location of place is in the worse part of town, don’t go there with family and children people in the hotel smoking crack needles all over the places. It had NO A/C NO FANS. The two guys in the front desk, they don’t want to do anything, don’t bother to ask them for something because they don’t even move out of their seats. Recommendation or more somewhere else, for some reason the people that stays here are homeless people and drug addiction people. Place is dirty I even told the guy in the front desk the the share bathroom and the floor, were blood everywhere and his answer was “ Use another bathroom” he did not it even care, a day later the bathroom was still with blood. You get what you pay.
It was filthy no air conditioning like a lot of the amenities that they said on the website hanging cables from wall. No room service dangerous
Pros: relatively inexpensive; with a microwave and a minifridge
Cons: area surrounded by street people; no place to put your towel or clothes in the shower.
