Most things were good , especially the staff
Had to ask for the heating to be put on in the room both nights , it either very hot or very cold
Lovely welcoming staff
Great food. Compliments to the chef.
The walls between the rooms are very thin. You can hear everything from the occupants in the next room from the tv to coughing, and conversions.
The bed was lumpy and the pillows were hard.
No remote for the tv.
My car did not fit through the tiny alleyway to the car park at the back of the hotel. However the public car park was only a short walk away.

It’s convenient
The steep steps. They are so dangerous. I wasn’t drinking and I fell twice! The staff are aggressive when questioned about the clientele they entertain. Not quite sure what is going on. Strong strong smell of dirty drugs. Weed? There was a party in one room. Which totally spoilt my guests stay. It’s a shame as I’ve grown up with my family, elderly family loving this place. Twice I’ve stayed. That was my last. Unless you are a tradie with earplugs travelling for work, just avoid! Food is nice though.
