It is a basic hotel at a reasonable price. The bed is thai style hard. The room was spacious but virtually no sound isolation from the hallway. Something on the breakfast menu gave me food poisoning for 10 days, so be careful.
This is a small little hotel, so do no expect to much, hotel is in of clean and in good condition, but the staff doesn’t smile doesn’t talk apart from the very necessary, I think staff could be more friendly and relaxed, customer wants to feel welcome and not in a cube of ice.
Very nice hotel with a decent breakfast in a very quiet location. Staff were great!
The Loei Village has to be one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed at. I had been a Peace Corps volunteer in this town 40 years ago and came back to see the town and friends. The staff helped me track down people and went way beyond any expectations i ever had. The beds are a little stiff or maybe I have become a little stiff, that is the only negative i could say about it, and for the price it is unbeatable.
Good property for Loei. Location isn’t the greatest, not much available within walking distance. Clean hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff.
The staff were good. The hotel was very clean, especially in the room. The room was comfortable and the bed also. The bathroom was clean, and the shower and toilet layout was very good - no wet floor around the toilet, unlike most other wet room designs we have stayed at. The location of the hotel was great as there are many bars and restaurants only 10 minutes walk away - off the main street which is nearby. Loei is surprisingly a decent area, and quite busy and lively in the evening - good to visit. The only negative about the hotel was cold fried eggs at breakfast - (off a side buffet layout) - maybe the norm here in a lot of hotels.
A budget motel with no frills.
Good deal that is centrally located with excellent service. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good. Front desk staff is some of the most accommodating that I have come across. Only downside is the extremely unconfortable wooden chairs in the room. More like outdoor furniture you sit guests in so they will soon leave
Central position very clean very quiet excellent breakfast good decor
I chose this hotel for several reasons: close to my friend's house, easy walk to downtown, it's a very quiet area, the positive reviews, the price and they do a nice breakfast buffet. As you would expect in a small town as this the English language skills are limited but passable for interacting with non-Thai people. All room signs are posted in Thai. On the TV (very nice one) I found only one channel providing English-speaking content. Though housekeeping does a very good, and quick, job they consistently forgot to put coffee packets in the room. So each day I needed to go to the front desk desk for more. While the room was very clean they had overlooked cleaning out the collection of dead flies and bugs in the overhead ceiling light cover. Rather unappealing to me but perhaps it doesn't matter to other people. The lobby is quite nice and the breakfast buffet is very good. The front desk can arrange taxi service. I will stay here again when I come back.
Stopped over for night on motorcycle trip from Nan. Place is on quiet soi. Not a new hotel but exceptionally well maintained. Room was large. Bed a bit hard by my standards. Location good for me because just a 3 minute ride to The Saloon and the Outlaw Brewery. Fawn, the night staff on duty was so kind a bvb d sweet and spoke delightful English. Breakfast was very good and diverse.
A mid-range hotel that provides clean and well maintained facilities. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The room lighting is excellent, which benefits those who need to work on documents. Most staff can understand basic conversational level English. Parking is secure and the surrounding residential area is quiet.
very quiet. very helpful staff
We had a little problem checking in because they did not have our reservation and it took about an hour before the problem was resolved by Orbitz. The staff also did not speak english very well so it was a little hard to communicate. The hotel itself was nice, the room was a little small but clean and the breakfast ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I needed a hotel in Loei again I would stay here.
Staff very welcoming and ready to serve. Breakfast sufficient and healthy. Room spacious, clean and in very tidy condition. Well located i.e. We didn't need to use our car to get around town but we're able to walk to eating places, market etc
The hotel had a great view of the river and was close to everything. The hotel staff were awesome.
This hotel is one of the nicest in Northeastern Thailand! The staff is excellent and very attentive. The rooms are spotlessly clean and attention to detail is evident in the bathroom. The bathroom is fully functional western style bathroom that has a separate shower stall, has a counter top so that there's room for your shaver, toothbrush, etc. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a good mix of Asian and Western foods. Located in a quiet neighborhood, there are several restaurants within easy walking distance as long as like local cuisine (Isaan food). FYI if you're driving a car, the car park is the best in Thailand. You can pull into the lot and there's plenty of room to maneuver.
In general, it was nice. The minor thing was the Tv which a bit difficult to manage cable, more thai channels.
